In the UK there is always a warning before controversial shows saying these might offend (so if you don't like it you can turn it off) Christina Applegate was my celebrity crush....so sad how her health has turned so bad

I recovered completely, and now dont have many lasting symptoms. I have never had another major attack, and the other guy is almost an invalid. Its almost luck of the draw.

I grew up watching married with children and here in the UK it didn't start until midnight so I'd rush home from the pub and watch it and always looked forward to it, it's just a classic piece of American humour at its best 😊
I’m an American who was a teenager in 1987 when “Married With Children” began and it was THE show everyone was talking about (lots of people loved it, lots of people hated it). I was amazed when my relatives in Sweden and Australia began calling me to tell me they were watching it too, because lots of American shows didn’t get shown in other countries back then, or they got shown years later. When it was shown in Sweden it was shown with In English with Swedish subtitles, which is how the Scandinavian countries do it. The funniest time seeing the show was when I went to Japan and “Married With Children” was on several times a day at all hours. In Japan they have Japanese actors do the voiceovers in Japanese, and they talk VERY fast. Hearing and seeing Al Bundy insult fat women Japanese was absolutely hysterical!

This is why shoe stores should have signs that say, “If you say that you’re a Size 6 and the shoe doesn’t fit, then you are NOT a Size 6!”
There is a 2-part episode of Married With Children when during a heat wave, Al refuses to install an air conditioning system in the house, so the entire family go to their local grocery store and hang out in the frozen food section to stay cool. It's worth watching.
0:36 which is exactly why “married with children” should be rereleased, people in the 21 century are way too soft.
Yes yes yes
Too soft.
No the real reason it would happen today is because there is no way a shoe salesman could afford that house in a Chicago suburbs now

Al and Griff had a great chemistry like Fred and Barney, Herman Munster and Grandpa and so many others. These clips also show Al's quick wit and sarcastic humor. Thanks for sharing this!
I have never seen those before. LOL Funny, thanks!😂
"I'd say it behind your back but my car's only got a half a tank of gas!" is far and away my favorite.
One of the greatest sitcoms of all time
Thank you for this: I laughed out loud a few times... Great stuff.
My mom knew 2 of the actresses that he insulted on the show. They were payed very well and they absolutely loved Ed O'Neil!
At the end of Al and Peggy calling the women fat, a Burger King commercial pops up!😂
You can't pay for timing like that!
I always enjoyed the shoestore scenes with Al and Griff. A spinoff with just them working would have been hilarious!
That was funny.
If you referred to someone as "thick" in Scotland you'd be calling them stupid (thick=stupid).
"Thick as a brick." 😅
@@Sean-gj7vw Or even stronger: Thick as two bricks. (Australian here)
Or New Zealand,"Thick as two short planks."
That's what it used to mean here in the US. How things have changed...
@@marcelparker6755 That's because Americans are thick people who got thick. 😂
Remember, it's just a joke; much love from your Canadian friends who are just as thick.
Don't let this distract you from the the fact that in 1966, Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.
married with children is a major rerun with ZERO edits Right now on many channels
In the UK there is always a warning before controversial shows saying these might offend (so if you don't like it you can turn it off)
Christina Applegate was my celebrity crush....so sad how her health has turned so bad
MS is a terrible way to go too! Watched a cousin of mine deteriorate, bedridden, and eventually unable to communicate.
What time does to w is a crime ..

@mikeh8416 It's also unpredictable as H. I was diagnosed after a massive attack in 2009. I couldn't walk for two months. Made friends with another guy in the VA Hospital who had the same. I recovered completely, and now dont have many lasting symptoms. I have never had another major attack, and the other guy is almost an invalid. Its almost luck of the draw.
You think there'd be an assumption that anything in life could offend you. Why have a special warning.
They forgot the Best one: "Does this dress make me look fat?" Al: "Its not the dress that makes you look Fat, it's the Fat that makes you look Fat." 2nd is "I'm trying to get a tan." AL: "You're asking a lot from the Sun."
No. They don't censor the reruns on tv. 0:25.
Bring it back with Sanford and son. Those reruns have me 😂
2 of my favorites
Al Bundy's most famous quote..."Don't try to understand women... women understand women, and they hate each other."
I still love this show. I remember as a kid sneaking back to the living room to watch the Benny Hill show at night hoping my parents wouldn't here me giggling. 😅
I love Al Bundy's show I miss it..
Dude, you can definitely still say "fat." I do. All the time. 😂
You can also say "landwhale" even if UA-cam DOES ask you aRe yOu sUrE yOu wAnNa pOtHt tHiTh?🤪🤪🤪🤪😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"a bubbling cauldron" was absolutely genius!
I worked at Pic N Pay shoes. Shoe Show bought them out. We called them Pick N Steal! Lol One lady brought a pair back to exchange them after they were worn. I told her, looked like a dog got a hold of them. Then I would get cursed out. After that job, I worked as a C/O in a prison for 25 years. It was a good prep job! 😅😅😅
Try N Save
@@Mike-rk8px lol that's brilliant i can imagine the Japanese and being dubbed over at the time it was only one of two American shows that were being shown in the UK the other one was also brilliant called soap I'm sure that you've watched it again another bit of American humour that was brilliant 🍻🙏
Yeah. Soap was great. Bert was a hoot.
love you guys!❤ - awesome piece on Al! Al is THE MAN!...👍🏽❤😃
Ahh the good old days. When people knew what a joke was & could have a good laugh.
I haven't cried laughing like this since the 90's. Thank you.
Al Bundy = Legend!!
Al Bundy for President!!
With Griff as his veep.
back then - was a good time. i enjoyed looking forward to every episode!
This was the greatest show ever. I grew up watching this with my family. I still watch it and laugh today.
Bundys are the best
