Day one is done. (for the mini) Watch lost connection overnight and had to spend about 30 minutes reconnecting. Also the watch for some reason went to Celsius. But I got everything straightened out and did my workouts. Although I lost connection it did record my sleep and heart rate numbers so nothing lost. Sadly, it did not auto id my exercises (biking, elliptical and boxing) but you can see I did the work in the heart rate zone section. I don't really care about the auto id too much because my paper log is my main journal. And the sleep numbers seem to be way more accurate than the so-called standard of Fitbit. I am still a very happy buyer
Update. Auto Id for exercises is done on the watch not on the app. It lost connection again after I woke up, but after I resolved a distraction (about 3 minutes), the watch was all synced up. Don't know what was going on. The auto id is cool after I learned how to configure. One of the cool aspects of this really inexpensive watch is that it monitors you while you work out. It gives audio cues to progress. This would have been spectacular in my training days, now it's annoying. That is on me not the watch. I love this watch. Please, please, please be durable.
Great video. I think I prefer the GTR mini by a hair. Here the cost in local currency is 104k the GTR 4 and 65k the mini. I think the mini can't respond (via quick responses) WhatsApp messages and GTR 4 can. That's a dealbreaker for me :) But the size is also of concern.
GTR Mini won my heart because of its smart design.
I don't really like bulky watches that have massive buttons especially if it's a modern smartwatch.
I agree, not everyone will fit a large watch on hand.

Do any of these have accident/ incident detection and notification to contacts?
Unfortunately, I did not find such a feature.

in practice, GPS works identically on both.
@@criticaltech7091 On GTR4 you can follow a trace on GPS, import your route file (GPX) and then follow it, there is no such thing on GRT mini
