  • I do a lot of Judo competition video analysis with the athletes I coach, as well as technique review (Judo and S&C), and I thought it'd be fun to analyse one of my old Judo fights...so you can learn from my mistakes.
I found a version of my third round fight from the 2010 U23 Judo European Championships on UA-cam and thought it would be a good fight to review, as I learnt a lot from this loss.
Do you ever film and analyse your Judo competitions?

I appreciate you sharing this; they do say that you learn more from seeing your mistakes than when you look at what went well. I see some of the mistakes you made in this fight in modern matches; it's also fitting that you uploaded today as I went to spectate a local tournament today.

Yes, I agree...I have found a couple more of my fights online, so will review some more...both wins and losses, as both are important!
