Nelly opened a whole school in downtown St Louis for audio engineering and making beats. I was working at a grocery store downtown St. Louis (Culinaria) serving deli meat when I signed up for the school. I graduated and moved to Las Vegas with that degree and that's how I support my family. When I was signing up people told me it was a “fake” school and they won’t help you find a job. He got the best around the country to run the school. Carl Nappa (*NSYNC, Gwen Stefani, etc) Wyshmaster (I’m on a boat, brass knuckles) Alonzo “Trackstarz” Lee (right thurr, yeah by usher) all were teachers at the school. I knew all I needed was the knowledge and I was good because Im not waiting on anyone to find me a job. So I moved my wife and 4 kids to Las Vegas and now I’m working at 3 properties and helped build the new Circa Las Vegas. He also brought my cousin out to Drais and let him perform his single at his residency. I went out with them that night and he was courteous and inviting and I literally had the best night of my life.
When you ask for a star celebrity to do an interview, & you ask for the story, shut your mouth & listen!! Kudos to Nelly for being able to sit through this 👏👏👏 I would've been got up, cussed them out & left...especially dude doing the interview 💯💯💯

This interview is exactly why : A. You can't blow up and do stuff like this for the hometown (because they are too biased) B. People are still envious of you C. People are threatened by Nelly just being there (He wasn't even being disrespectful) D: He was so attached to the situation he said Ali's statements were facts without even checking a second source. Had to come back to this interview after seeing the St. Lunatics suing Nelly. If you listen to this interview, you’ll know that the St. Lunatics knew all these years that they weren’t getting paid for contributing to Nelly’s Country Grammar album. They didn’t wanna handle their business and they were satisfied letting Nelly handle everything. Nelly didn’t use them. They didn’t wanna do their jobs.
They signed early and got caught up, that much as seems clear; and noone has refuted this YET!!! I'm not saying Nelly is straight up and down telling the whole truth; but what he saying is less conjecture and more about the realities/legality... Had to come back to this interview after seeing the St. Lunatics suing Nelly. If you listen to this interview, you’ll know that the St. Lunatics knew all these years that they weren’t getting paid for contributing to Nelly’s Country Grammar album. They didn’t wanna handle their business and they were satisfied letting Nelly handle everything. Nelly didn’t use them. They didn’t wanna do their jobs.
Not just that someone else owns their publishing, which means it likely was paid out to the other party.
They signed early and got caught up, that much as seems clear; and noone has refuted this YET!!! I'm not saying Nelly is straight up and down telling the whole truth; but what he saying is less conjecture and more about the realities/legality... Stuff that ain't opinion things you can look up and double check.
It is a crying shame that one of the best interviews in the history of hip-hop happened to be handled by some of the most amateur people with microphones you’ll ever meet. This is the reason why STARZ don’t always try to help out the little guy. Drink champs or Vlad TV and this is the best interview you’ll ever see.
Nelly should stay far away from Vlad . Drinks champs is decent but somebody else need to interview him .
