We started explore the Michelin guide options for 2020. Full Belly Travels will start visiting Michelin restaurants in South Korea. Our tour of these restaurants starts at a North Korean mandu restaurant called Bongsanok. It's named after the city that the recipe came from. moved from Seattle to Seoul to OKC and I was pleasantly surprised at the asian scene in OKC which is predominately vietnamese and OKC has a larger asian market than Seattle if you can believe that and you can get fresh pork buns aka Boa buns. Anyway I miss the shit out of mandu!!!!!

seoulwhaler I would put money on it. They were so good! You get that crisp from the bindaeduk. They are a perfect pair.

I like how crunchy that Jeon looks that's the style I really like 🙂. I've always been told that North Korean style cuisine is typically more toned down as far as flavor goes than food in the South, what do you think?
Justin Abroad yeah I agree. Less salty, less spicy it’s still delicious. I enjoyed that place a lot.
That huge pot looks amazing! It's always nice to see the culture from such a tightly bound country spilling out, giving the capability to still try their style of food. Great little vid - one request: it can be kind of hard to hear you two (especially your wife/gf(?)), maybe a simple shot-mic or wired lav would be a great addition.
RA we will soon get a lav mic. We have a small shotgun mic. But we already stir up attention with the bigger camera I use. So I know we need to speak up. Thank you for the feedback. We will work on it.
