I completely agree with you mate. Some people are to harsh with the AB when I think their team is fantastic, and probably the best team the AB ever have.
But the level around the world went up big time, which has changed for ever the hegemony that the AB had over the rest of the teams around the world.
In this sort of level, the one who wins is the team who wanted it more and make fewer mistakes under pressure.

I’m worried, cause this Pumas team will take our current springbok team for a walk.
As a Pumas fan two things immediately called out to me: our defensive game has matured incredibly with discipline holding tight for all 80 minutes; and our game has become less erratic and more clinical. Didn't come in expecting much, but leave with renewed confidence for the future of Argentine rugby. Our press is going to have a field day with this.

I think more credit and focus should be bestowed to all the other teams who have raised their levels significantly rather than the demise of the AB. Nothing lasts forever.

@@stephendaedalus6192 Too much individual mistakes. And penalties. It's a sign they are anxious, maybe too much pressure from their supporters. In a country where rugby is all and with so many good players, I believe they are in hell. This creates a snowball: more pressure , more anxiety, which reflect in their play. They lost and the pressure raises. We had this problem in Brazil with our soccer national team also.

To beat the All Blacks anywhere in the world you must have a perfect game, period: No penalty kicks missed, be extremely disciplined not to give away silly penalties, and fight non-stop until the buzzer. Great win, Pumas!

Argentina les da una ventaja enorme a las otras potencias mundiales del rugby, en Nueva Zelanda, Sudáfrica y Australia el rugby es el deporte más popular, sus jugadores son profesionales lo mismo que en el Reino Unido y Francia.
En Argentina el rugby es amateur a nivel clubes, los únicos profesionales son los ex Jaguares y Los Pumas o cuando son transferidos al exterior, además todas las otras potencias nacionalizan jugadores extranjeros y Japón tiene el 90 % de su seleccionado extranjero, en los mundiales la ÚNICA SELECCIÓN NACIONAL CON EL 100 % de jugadores nacionales es Argentina.
Dando todas esas ventajas Argentina juega de igual a igual y muchas veces vence a las otras potencias super profesionales.
Si es amateur es culpa de los dirigentes que hace 38 años votan para no profesionalisar. Al menos 2 asambleas de la UAR que votaron que no y solo quieren pegar de arriba un equipo profesional.
Al menos ahora tenemos la liga profesional sudamericana y la mitad de las plantillas son de argentinos más un equipo argentino, pero es 20 años tarde.
This is not true. Many other national teams have 100% of national players playing in World Cups. Uruguay, Fiji to name a few. And they are amateurs in their countries.

Lo de Argentina es histórico porque además de vencer a Australia y Nueva Zelanda en los mundiales eliminó a Francia en su mundial venciendolo dos veces, eliminó también en dos ocasiones a Irlanda y por eso no tuvieron más remedio que invitarlos a rugby championship.
Argentina vencía a las potencias europeas con regularidad pero le costaba Sudáfrica, Nueva Zelanda y Australia, ahora eso empezó a cambiar, un árbitro imparcial en este caso hizo la diferencia.

Both the kiwi and Aussie commentators are so see through and biased in their commentary that it’s laughable. Aussies in particular are worse to be fair, they don’t seem to acknowledge when they’ve been outplayed. At least the kiwis can recognise that they got beat fair and square. But they still don’t put the same passion into their commentary when it’s FOR the opposition.

Congratulations to Argentina! They played really well and were hungry for the win! They made good on field decisions and took points when they were offered. Their kicker was flawless and he was given many opportunities by AB's indiscipline. The AB's line-out was not good today but the scrum looked really solid. The AB's backline didn't get much ball 2nd half, but the Pumas defence was top drawer. On to the next one!👏👏👏
