History has it that when they first came in contact with those tribes with their advanced war machinery , those hill tribal already had their own local guns . The britishers were shocked and at the same time intimated and doubtful that the hill tribals will outmatch them and thus they started to introduce the opium to these areas. Lucky for the britishers and unlucky for the hill tribals that they started loving opium.
