Its a great way to upcycle all of those pairs of jeans that we dont use because of all the holes. My kids tend to rip through their jeans if I dont iron on a patch on the inside when the jeans are new. This method does protect the wear of the knee on jeans atleast for awhile. Only thing I would do is be more precise and take my time so that both legs are even.

I saw this video three days ago and now I got my self a shorts from my jeans
I have made several pairs of shorts for my girls out of their ripped jeans. I have actuallt become pretty good at it. Once washed all they need is to be ironed a little where the cuff is and they look just like store bought shorts.
You probably have experience but most of us will not cut as straight without measuring n we don’t know how to measure.
Will make shorts with turnup today.
