Knowing that 2007 could be the last year that F1 would visit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, I made sure to be able to capture the F1 circus in high definition. If only I had the opportunity to do so when I went to the USGP at Watkins Glen in 1977, 1978, and 1980.
The speedway was open to the public on Thursday to allow fans to walk the pitlane.
What a cool experience to get an up-close perspective of the fabulous technical marvels that Formula 1 cars are each year.
I will be posting all of the HD video that I shot throughout the race weekend.
I also have photos and audio that I will be posting as well. When I wasn't shooting video, I was shooting still photos. For audio, I recorded the audio using external stereo onto a digital recorded to capture the normally aspirated V8's screaming at 19000 rpm (rev limited).
