- I bought this fantastic fantasy train; the PRR FG1 from K&L Trainz and want to see how powerful it is. Let's see how fast a double-headed FG1 can go with this ridiculous heavy load!

USA:
Many main routes in the western US allow cars with gross weights up to 315,000 lb (142,882 kg) (157.5 short tons or 140.62 long tons or 142.88 tonnes).
A Duluth, Missabe & Iron Range ore train pulled by a single 2-8-8-4 "Yellowstone" steam locomotive which totaled over 19,000 short tons (17,000 long tons; 17,200 t)
A BNSF train from Ogden, Utah, to Roseville, California, was 14,000 short tons (12,500 long tons; 12,700 t)
A CN mixed freight train from Symington Yards in Winnipeg to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, was over 22,500 short tons (20,100 long tons; 20,400 t)

When you realize buying railworks was a huge mistake
If someone loves train simulator for America's steam engines, Trainz is the game for them. Railworks focus on the EU market and seldom encourage 3rd parties content. : )
@@Jones3DModelingClub I agree. Recently bought it. I like the physics in Railworks and the animated passengers on the platforms, but when it compares to the railroad operation, customization, and availability of content in Trainz, it's no contest. I only like Railworks for the quality of it's German steam locomotives, but the DLC is so expensive that it isn't worth it. I think the weather looks nicer in Railworks, but a lot of it's other object models are way behind in terms of Graphics. Plus the Br pannier tank that comes with the game won't couple to anything. Trainz is definitely a better game.

Is the FG1 A Mallet type Locomotive?
It is, but it's a simple mallet type, as is all cylinders are using the same pressure steam.
