S&K is by far the best of the four (five if you count 3D) original instalments for the MD. Starting from Lava Reef onwards the game is just pure epicness.
Nah, thinking of replaying the games n thought about getting the Origins collection but apparently it doesn't have S&K standalone option.. n it being my favorite it's a bummer
I just got this ordered in addition to my Genesis and its games, as well as After Burner II, it is come earlier next week and I'm glad I got it, its price is starting to get high, as well as Sonic 3.

Hyper sonic was added in Sonic 3 & Knuckles rather than In Sonic and Knuckles probably because they're separate games meaning same emeralds to collect rather than Sonic 3 and Knuckles making a new set of emeralds to collect.
Because Sonic and Kunckles is basically just the 2nd half of Sonic 3, if you want Hyper Sonic, you gotta use lock on technology by combing Sonic 3 and Sonic and Kunckles into Sonic 3 and Kunckles for the full experience
Tails, Hyper Sonic and the super emeralds are not canon, since this follows directly the story of 3 where Tails lose Sonic before the fight with Big Arms. So Tails only finding Sonic after Doomsday zone makes perfect sense. Also the súper emeralds never appeared after or before 3&K, those are only the excuse to keep colecting the emeralds once the S&K stages start, enlarging the game...

Most overrated game of the series. Enemies are intentionally positioned to hurt you, it's so stupid and unfair. Sonic 3 was still pretty good, but this one is broken in so many ways. And level design is confusing and annoying, like Sandopolis act 2.
Nope, S&K is the superior game of the five MD OGs, to me is: S&K>2>3>3D>1. To understand why i putted 3D on that position you need to go back in time and feel how wonderfull was to play that game at the time of release... Also CD and Chaotix not on my list because played them way after the OGs.
