- Alvin Daniell interviews Calypso Rose (McCatha Lewis), the first female and official Calypso Monarch (it was called Calypso King before her victory). The interview was held at the Hilton Hotel in Trinidad.
Only recently discovered Calypso Rose a few years back with her hit song "Leave Me Alone" ft. Manu Chao (Kubiyashi Remix ft. Machel Montano) ... been loving her music ever since here in Washington DC
