ROSES AND BIRDS IN PUDUO DEEP POUR RESIN

- Welcome to the world of Colour Passion, in this tutorial I am experimenting with dried flowers and a couple of birds in moulds with the new PuDuo Deep Pour Resin. Well it was a bit epic on my side! I have learned a lot with how I pour and how much to pour to improve upon this interesting area of Resin.
It is critical to prepare everything before you commence. I would recommend using a Mould Release Spray to ensure the resin comes out clean and effortlessly. It is also important to pour in several layers to prevent air bubbles rising up and getting caught before reaching the surface....oh honestly....Remember, unless you give it a go, you will never, never know - so why not give it a go!
In a future video I will demonstrate how to create a Charcuterie Board with the Deep Pour Resin.

Love the roses you dried yourself. Loved all the deep pours. You mentioned using shells and I filled mine with resin the day before I did my pour for a clock but unfortunately a crack in the resin spoilt it. I re-poured over it but too many bubbles appeared. Now using as a door stop. 😍☹😊
Oh that’s a shame. It’s certainly a learning curve! With shells you can certainly fill them the day prior to recent those pesky bubbles coming to the surface!

Truly beautiful. ❤❤❤ the roses in those deep pours. I’ve a bunch I’ve dried yet not used and need to get cracking on stuff. From being so sick then into a funk over things, it’s been a rough Autumn here. lol but I’m stubborn so onward I go. Those birds look great too. I’d imagine you would need to soak them in resin then place in the mold to try to rid those pesky bubbles. Feathers seem to trap bubbles. ❤those too. Great tutorial. 🥰
Good morning. We are heading into a hot summer so I must confess I’m not looking forward to the heat.
Yes soaking them may be the trick. Or maybe use a syringe and insert the resin first then let it cure. Let me know once you have done some. Meanwhile I’ll continue on!!🎉❤
@@colourpassion7341 Heading into winter here. Seen some low temps in the 20F range already and some snow. Haven’t done anything yet as I did get rather sick for a couple months. Voice almost normal. Still cracks here and there. But will be homebound pretty much for the next few months so will be doing projects of various types. Lease is up on Jeep so looking for something to buy outright now. Hate car payments.
You certainly have had some challenges. Hoping they are behind you now.
