In this clip, Tray Deee shares his thoughts on Mob James saying that a lot of gangsters stay in the criminal lifestyle after getting out of prison because of laziness. Tray Deee explained that he's been to prison eight times and he agrees with Mob James' statement. He went on to speak about people needing a work ethic today more than ever, adding that there are some who don't want much in life and take the easy way out, which you can hear more about above.

I have several friends, 35 or older, who are living with their parents because their parents are 70 or 80 and cannot rely on each other to do certain tasks. so yes it's bad to live at home, but at the same time if you're the only one able enough to help family AND work a job then more power to you

I agree most adults living with there parents or relatives are going to school and it’s easier to pay for schooling and not pay to stay with family. Its not always the adult being lazy. I disagree with Tray Dee and Mob James. In CA you have to make at least $80,000 a year to afford the rent. Cost of living continues to increase but job wages stay stagnant. You could work a full time job at $10-15hr and still damn near starve to death. If you have a child it's even worse. Being a criminal makes mathematical sense in a lot of cases

I don't know if there is such a thing as laziness really. What there is is a lot of people who don't know what to do and are lost. With education and for people to find a passion something else that is not related to drugs. People who get addicted are often people who get trapped in a cycle of not knowing what to do. By helping people to find something they like and what they can become passionate about in a positive way is how we prevent people from getting lost.

Well some people live at their parents house and pay the parents full rent. So that’s not too bad. But it’s still a must that we learn to live on our own and pay our own bills. It’s so true when yuh know you gotta work to keep that condo or house or apartment it’s a different kind of mentality. But also some people live on their own but if something happens like they end up losing their job. They have the kind of relationship with their parents that they can move back into their parents house until they get back on their feet. And that’s fine we must always love and help each other. Some unfortunate folks don’t even have that. They have no family to help them out for whatever Reason if they can’t pay the bills. Now that is scary. But if you put your trust in Jesus Christ of Nazareth and constantly pray and acknowledge him. No matter what happens he will make a way. You loose a job or an apartment. He will replace with a better paying job. And show you a bigger more beautiful apartment with a lower rent than the smaller apartment you had before lol. It’s just how Christ works always giving more than what we ask for. And I speak from experience

I’m in my early 30’s and still live with my parents for now, but that doesn’t mean that I am not doing something with my life.
He wasn't saying that it meant you weren't doing something with your life. He was saying that the mentality is different. And as someone who has stayed with somebody early into my adult years I can say it's true. Losing a job now with my own place feels different vs if you were living with someone. It's more pressure to get up and make something happen.

Shit I’m 48 and living with my parents, looking for a perm job, and it’s been 4 years. I get a short term temp job once or twice a year, but it’s been tough searching. But yes, the sense of urgency is not quite there compared to when I had my own place. You kind of get comfortable after a while, because how else are you gonna act at your parents? I don’t feel guilty about it at all now.

I recently went through a divorce, my credit was shot, and I was $62K in debt. I had the option to go back to my mother's, but I chose to get a van, and live in it while working 2 full time jobs. I believed that I made my bed, therefore, I should lay my head. There's no shame in utilizing that option of going back to your parents to regroup. I had to do that when I was 19. But, to get comfortable or complacent in that situation just because you know you can is shameful to me. For me, it's about dignity and pride as a man. I could never be comfortable DEPENDING on other people, but to each his own.

I'm going thru exactly this, I'm not lazy but after 30yrs of gang bangin selling drugs and prison ,now I have to work. Child support no DLz family and friends dying off ,I'm scared that I have already failed. I have a 4yr old son that I want to see grow up and if it wasn't for him ,I would definitely take penitentiary chances again. But I love him more than life itself so I push on for him...we just have to find motivation a reason to care ..it is a form of PTSD
