Man this is sick, Gives me nostalgia from the times I'd play this on my grandma's Windows XP. That's such an accurate and yet impressive build, I love it
I was wondering if anyone had ever done this. I always thought it was a decent, if somewhat simple table. I felt it deserved a VP, full table treatment.
dude thats so awesome! I just went to an arcade and it reminded me of the space cadet pinball game and i was curious if I could make a pinball machine with tv screen and its so cool to see someone else did it. Eventually I'll have to build one of these.
You should totally get some red blue glasses, install a new build of vpx 10.8, and play this on 3d on the table. It's game changing. Any vpx game in 3d is, but to play this like its a real table is just amazing!
This is awesome, this is probably as close as we are going to get to an actual space Cadet machine, unless electronic arts which now owns Maxis, decides to strike a deal with Stern, or somebody else. What machine did you use this on and how did you do it? I’m thinking of getting myself a virtual pinball machine for my home.
I built the virtual machine myself from scratch. If you are thinking of getting into the world of virtual pinball, I highly recommend going that way. There is a very informative build guide available that helps map out the journey. If you buy something prebuilt you will find keeping it running to be much more of a task.
The game itself can be found on vpforums.com - it will run on a pc with visual pinball and vpinmame installed. I built the virtual pinball machine you see it running on.
Hey Jim, I would like to know where i can find this soundtrack's remix. I think it perfectly balances the use of modern electronic music while keeping its retro roots. Also, the subwoofers are incredible
I see your mx leds seems to work for you , i got latest version but no mx led effects, my solenids and so they work but no leds. V4 of the table. Any idea?
I added all the DOF code for the MX LED's. JP and I had a disagreement over release, so it was only up on VPU for about a day. If you want a copy of the DOF enabled version I can hook you up. Just reach out to me.
this is one of the most adorable and awesome thing I’ve seen this week! amazing # F R E E P A L E S T I N E May Allah (S.W.T.) guide you and bestow upon you His Blessings; Ameen.
@@jimkramer That's so cool 😎! I really loved playing this game on the computer when I was a little girl at 8 years old. I got into the game and even played it with the music.

It doesn't. Its not an actual pinball machine, its just a screen..
Makes sense for it to be an actual table. Even if it's a virtual one.
I was just wondering

Pinball space cadet was a well known classic. And now it's here
The game itself can be found on vpforums.com - it will run on a pc with visual pinball and vpinmame installed. I built the virtual pinball machine you see it running on.

Closest we'll ever get to a real life machine
Please tell us we can actually buy a copy of this somewhere.
When the Past became Present and will remain in the Future
Is this using the FullTilt ruleset or the gimped one that came with Windows 95 Plus?
I'll take Nostalgia for $2,000, Ken.
what if later, Space Cadet is adapted to Pinball FX?
Memories
Link to the space cadet table by chance? This looks soooo good. I don’t think I’ve seen one look this good.

Why’s there’s a Smurf in the Space ship
Tribute to the table developer.
Is this all real or digital
Virtual pinball running on a real cabinet with pinball solenoids, chimes, flippers, etc.
