Came to shimshal valley in hunza northern areas of Pakistan. People are so welcoming. Many cyclists come there. I am a guide and i rode cycle with many tourists
okaminess There’s no offense. The truth is that no matter where you find yourself in this world, you’ll come across liars, including people in the country from which you hail, see Romans 3:4.
One of my favourite UA-cam videos. A lovely lady living a life full of adventure but in a selfless and environmentally friendly way. And a doctor, too. What a wonderful role model for other young people.
I have to say , what a woman , and an inspiration . as a man I found that hard too say , but true and worth it . what a person . : ) thanks for the vid .
Awesome video. If the worlds media focused more on stories like this than on the negative stories they always show. The world would be a more happy and positive place to live in. Keep up your amazing inspiring stories. Cheers :)
Brilliant! One of the best and most encouraging UA-cam cycling videos l have ever watched. To think I was a little bit hesitant about cycling the Hebrides!

Alin, a good tip that I can personally give you is never really do more than 60km in a day (Unless you have no choice) It's going to burn you out on longer trips
I like your video it shows that people from all over the world are really awesome... Pictures of Africa I think we're the best.. I'm black Irish which means we came from Mesopotamia and Egypt so I've always wondered about those places
Awesome, awesome, awesome! Great feature on such a wonderful young person, full of life and adventure! We should all go out and grab these kinds of fantastic life adventures as often as possible!
She is totally right about not having to worry too much about people when you cycle the world. I have cycled more than 30 countries over the past 40 years and have never been harmed by anyone.
+Balduizm :-D thanks, we´re glad you like it. start with a smal one over the weekend and then you will see you just have to go ;-) greetings from berlin
Shahid Fido was wonderful and your determination and your endurance was wonderful on the trip I want to be with you if you like it. I am from Syria, thank you very much
The story of when the stove broke is why I learned some bushcraft skills :) ALways need to know how to make a fire, tie a rope, make shelter and find safe food to eat!
regarding training for a ride; if the ride is less than a month then you will want to train and have your legs in good shape prior to beginning the ride. If the ride is longer than a month you can use the first few weeks to get in shape. This has worked for me in my 5 rides in China and Vietnam covering 10,000km.
This is nice documentary movie ;) I do the same thing so it is nice that somebody did so informing movie as this one. And she seems to be very nice person ;)
Loved your video. One little observation at 7:02: Maybe it's your personal preference and you disagree with me, but it looks like your seat's a bit high and you're somewhat overstretching your legs. You might find that lowering your seat - maybe just 0.5 inch - will result in less strain on your knees and more effective pedalling. Nicer to keep the knees slightly more bent with an angle of 145-155 degrees. Greetings from a roadracing - 3000 km annually - and ATB enthusiast /bicycle commuter from the Netherlands.
I love to see that you're not using some modern bike... You got an old school bike like I do if you maintain these things they never stop running....steel frames are the best.....
I would have liked to see the kind of break your bike had and how you fixed it ( temporarily w/ duct tape, para cord, you say,,,,) and how you had it fixed (for real, eventually). Great video, BTW. Inspiring. Thank you. Green with envy here....
@meriamera hatice, Unfortunately not! She have a Fb page but just a privat one, so i won´t post that here ;-) btw i think she should do that :-D greetings
Think about it this way,I really hate this video as this is the kind of life I wish i had but never will.So a thumbs down is worth much more than a like,I'd say.
