@@thefoxsinofgreed-ban6729 Did you ever find a solution? My MK3 just broke today. Same issue. No rev up at all. I emailed Dart Zone and they are sending me a replacement rev switch for the inside but I have no clue how to switch out the wires for it
Mad props to Drac and the team for bringing parts to market so quickly, and even more so for laughing at the YT algorithm and producing a mod guide in 2021.
This video is a bit Icarus of you Drac, narrativly I'd say including the portion of the video at the beginning where you say "I don't think I'm gonna mod the pusher system" to "I upgraded the motor off camera" to final results was masterful foreshadowing
Hey this is one of the reasons I follow you,.....honesty. we can't all win first time at bat, and that is a service for the fans to know what can and cannot be done to save people the hassle. So great job over all, that front barrel set is hot as I wasn't digging the triangle barrel. Paint scheme with the pic's ...brilliant. keep on doing what your doing so many of us totally dig it.
This is why I watch Drac, even as a dart zone fanboy (I think we all are now) he's still objective and honest about limitations and actually put a critical failure on his part and the blasters part in the film. Mad respect for that my friend, so impressed.
As usual, excellent mod guide. Couldn’t help notice your epic watch. A Rolex milgauss with blue dial, reference number 116400GV, if I’m not mistaken. Nice to see someone appreciate something other than a datejust or Daytona. Well played sir, well played.
I love your mod guides. Despite the fact that I don't do electronic modifications, and am passing on the Mark III all together, I still love the knowledge you share...the Bubblebee theme looks great👍
This was great, that's the first video I've seen a fail in but I can tell you just pushed it barely over the limit. Great that you caught that on your video, now we all know the limits. Jist picked this blaster up for 30 bucks as my first flywheel blaster and I am pretty happy to learn on it. Love your paint job, btw. Thanks!
I feel bad that i laughed at the tinkers look you gave it. That 'WHELP. I dun broke it. How?' look. Makes me feel happy and sad at the same time. We've all done it at one point. Be glad its on something hobby related, and not super important.
Would it be possible to 3d print a replacement bit for the one that broke, one with some channels built in that you could slot in some small metal rods to reinforce it?
As much as I love your reviews I appreciate your modding videos more. I like to see other people work and get new info on how I can improve on my modding skills. Thank you for this video and hopefully to see more modding videos 😎👍
Um ACKCHUALLY, the motors and shell are passively cooled since there isn't energy being used specifically to cool the parts. This video is unwatchable now how dare you. I thought you were an engineer or something. Can't wait to mod my MK3s out- such a fun blaster. And that shell 🤌🤌
Ho dang, u rite. What if Im the machine and me running full speed towards the other team is what pushes air over the motors? What if I wake up tomorrow and it was all just a foamy dream.
Imagine making an honest mistake but you're so narcissistic that you fixate on it for two months then reference it in a new video to make a bad joke attacking viewer comments.
My only "problem" with this blaster is the RoF. Hopefully there's some beefier PLA parts we can use when we get to beef it up to support a faster pusher motor.
I'm not a nerf expert, frankly I'm quiet new to the hobby. However, when I look at that thin piece when you open the blaster had me thinking is that thin piece strong enough for the thrower arm? Nice honest review man, this is why i enjoy watching your reviews.
I will say I love the upgrades but I might not even need the talon fix. I just recieved mine and it seems to take talons just fine (stock) so I'm quite relieved. I wonder if it may have been an early production thing. Never the less, good upgrades!
After all the rate of fire complaints this is the fix I figured someone would do. kind of a shame it didnt pan out I really thought it would be a simple swap like what drac did. but more innovation will come. maybe someone will come out with a whole drop in box for the pusher. lots of room.
What's the use of shorting the capacitor? With a lipo, it probably won't make a difference, but the capacitor should, if anything, speed up the motor's revving, meaning less trigger delay on full auto
might I suggest, for the mag adapter, a double paddle. the one that you made originally, and one that resembels the original, the one that came with the blaster, in 1 mag release. so that you can either use your off hand and grab the release with your thumb, OR use your middle finger.
Even though the ramp that comes with the Bits Kit works just fine, I'm kinda surprised you didn't at least briefly mention the DIY fix of cutting a slot in the pusher rails where the Talon's feed lips sit. All you need is a pair of wire cutters, and you'll never see the difference from the outside since the shell completely hides it.
What about an upgraded linkage? Definitely not interested in this if I can’t ramp up the full auto. Might as well use a modded Stryfe or Rapidstrike. Want to be excited, but not yet.
hey drac nice mod, I loved it hope you will fix it soon and show it off to us again I was modding my Disruptor and it broke and now I am really sad. So can you pls make a mod guide on the Disruptor
My guess is you might be able to use the phoenix if you get a thicker aluminium version of the Bart part. But then again, I'm not a mechanic and something else will probably go wrong.
I keep calling my bobo rev trigger on my stryfe the BABABOOEY And I have a question, is full auto gear pushed better then say the rapidstryke system? I feel like the rapidstryke system would hold up longer.
These are some super cool mods you have made! I really like your printed muzzle and switch, although I'm not sure how the new mag release would work if you try to use it with the hand you're taking the mag out with? I also really like how the forwards draft of the stock almost reflects the aesthetic of the foregrip. Nice paintjob too! Thanks so much for sharing this mod guide Drac! 🧡💛💜

Wow your barrel is so much better looking, it makes the whole blaster look so much nicer.
That nosepiece. It almost looks like there's room to add an IR sensor for an ammo counter. Just have to drill a hole into the side.
