Dead Air Sandman-S MIL-Contract on 14.5" 5.56 NATO @ 200 Yards

- In this video I'm testing the sound, accuracy, and consistency of my custom built 14.5" 5.56 NATO rifle, using some steel-cased Tula 55gr. ammo, and my Dead Air Sandman-S suppressor at the 8" 200 yard gong.
In the future I will get some open-air sound videos so it cuts down on the echo of being inside an enclosed area, and sounds more realistic to what you will hear outdoors and while hunting.
More to come in the future.
I get all of my Suppressors, Tax Stamps, and Trusts through Silencer Shop.
** Disclaimer** This video was filmed at my local FFL/SOT machine gun range, which is a professional environment, and has a licensed full-time NRA-certified R.O. and an enclosed firing area. I need a sound track of that plinking over and over for hours to sleep to
Love that sound
Yep! Nothing like tagging steel suppressed. You can actually hear your hits. 👍🏼

Good shooting
Thanks!
I recommend a super 42 spring and h3 weight from geissle
Yes!
How do you like that rainier arms select barrel?
I have several of them in different calibers and lengths, and they are all tack-drivers (for an AR). My 14.5” will shoot MOA (sometimes better) at 100-200 with surplus LC XM193F 55gr FMJ, and about 1-1.5 MOA with cheap Tula steel case 55gr. Highly recommend them for a solid reliable & accurate duty/SHTF AR. 👍🏼
"Accuracy" is a relative term in this video. Glad everything is running. Do you have an adjustable gas system of any kind? Or just running a standard gas block?
Standard GB & M16 BCG, H2 buffer. Carbine length system.
Maybe not in this video, but this rifle will consistently shoot 5” gongs @ 200 yards with a fixed 3x scope. I’d call that pretty accurate for an AR with fixed low power optics.
@@TroyPosey That'll work! Thanks for the rundown on your specs. I can get around 2-3" groups at 200 on a good day with my build. Definitely great for a semi-auto with bulk ammo.
Awesome you are getting that kind of accuracy with steel case.
Hey now that looks like lake Martin....
🤷🏼😏
@@TroyPosey 🤣 I got several firearms I need to take there to get sighted in next week
Why is there a pistol brace lol
It’s a 14.5” non P&W.
