I'm in East Coast surfer from the Outer Banks of North Carolina Who has only been to California three times in his life to surf. The first time I was 18 and I was there for 5 weeks. Mostly stayed in Coronado but surfed all over San Diego. The second time I was 23 and I stayed in O.C. for 3 weeks and surfed all over between Santa Cruz and Laguna. My third trip was in 2019 when I was 31 and I stayed in Santa Cruz and surfed all over from there and north of San Fran toward Bodega Bay. I was there for a month on that trip. Despite being an East Coast surfer, I know exactly where this spot is and I'm not really sure if I have any desire to go back because there was this just uneasy ambience at this spot. I constantly felt on edge and in a way that no other place has done that to me before and I'm not exactly sure why. Beautiful spot though.
the older guy's were for sure in the right here?? they had played their round and were about to collecting their balls and move down to the next hole and then that cocky young goon and his entourage came in like a hurricane , have some respect, its golf , its not f**ing wwe wrestling. jesus christ
You're super lame for posting this. Yeah man, the place gets crowded; anyone can show up here and get waves. But imagine if we had videos of this place every time it gets good. The people from here and live and breath this wave wouldn't get any waves and it would be dominated by rippers from santa cruz, socal, and what not. Not to mention this place can't hold a crowd 90% of the time and its already enough of a zoo as it is.
I surf San Diego area. When I think of Nor Cal to me its a trifecta (no thanks). Crowds, Cold Water and Sharks. I surfed Northern Washington blessed to know one of the local legends up there. At least you just got cold water. Hey Dylan lets lets take a trip to northern Washington. All tell you all the names of the spots and you can film me ripping them up. The wildlife needs to be fed. Kooky Camera guys are considered a delicacy up there. I need to do my part and feed the wildlife. Lets go bro....
