It has been a long labor of love to get it to this point!!! The front yard was only dirt with a few patches of grass! Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@XtendedCutz looks awesome brother. What height do you cut with. Also I can testify that you are thoroughly enjoying that suspension lol. My uncle has the 2100z and I've used it before
You guys need a bagger just for your lawn, it would be so worth it in the time, mess and labor it would save. And just start a compost pile out back, maybe make a little money adding it into your planting or seeding jobs. How's the flatbed going?
At this point it might be worth it time wise. But a bagger would make the mower even heavier and sink more. Have to think on that some. The flat bed is not getting anywhere with all this grass we don’t have time to breathe lol
Grew up with St Augustine lawn. Push mower, no such thing as self-propelled (not that it would’ve helped)! Got paid $3 to cut my elderly neighbor’s lawns as an elementary aged kid. NOT the good ole days!! If I had seen their grass get this high, I think I would have just cried!!
We actually made the one on it in the video. But we found one that was made specifically for this mower. It is constructed very well and works much better. With my noise canceling headphones, I leave equipment running all the time lately 🤯🤦🏼♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦♂️🤣 Partly it's because I'm in such a hurry I half want to discourage people from coming up to talk or ask to be put on the list ( although if they catch me at the right time and paying the right money, I'm still adding lawns 😵💫😵💫😵💫 ), and I'll leave one thing running, wrap up that part of the trailer ( strap it or lock it in, gate up, etc ), then fire up the next tool.....and I'm so focused on getting done, and whatever album or podcast I'm listening to, that I'll jump into the next thing and totally forget I left the other machine running 🤣🤣
@@XtendedCutz 😂 JESUS....too much running. I've even been working Sundays 🤦♂️ But this newer Ram has definitely been a Blessing...though I have to take it back to the dealer to get new coils put on her tomorrow 🙄😂🤷♂️ I suspect she's been throwing occasional "check engine"s because plus fuel is not good enough for the Hemi, or the stations I've been going to ( ALOT... she is a thirsty girl ) just have trash gas, but hey, I'm not going to say no to new parts 😂
@@XtendedCutz oh I know I had a landscaping and lawn management company for 15 years in the Tampa and now I live the north ga mountains and k31 grass is more of a pain to cut
I must have a lemon. Had a 4 inch strip of paint peel off the right front caster for no good reason with only about 4 hours. Ferris wants $35 for a can of paint.
😳 that’s crazy! Must have been made on a Friday 😆 But seriously I guess it depends on the person working that day. We had one or two issues with this 2200 but got them fixed, just took a LONG time. But all in all we LOVE our Ferris mowers.
So if it's "our overgrown lawn" and you have that equipment, why let it go so long? Also, seems to me that if you mowed in the other direction on the road side, the grass would have gone in the ditch, not the fence...just saying.
We have a lawn service ( 70+ lawns weekly) and ours lawn is always the last on the list. Lately we have been way too busy to have time to mow ours. If we threw the grass clippings in the ditch it would be a lot harder to collect them. With the grass being so tall you don’t want to leave that amount of clippings in the lawn, especially in one place because it could suffocate places or promote diseases. Thanks for watching and commenting!
No herbicides used on this lawn. We actually pull weeds out of the lawn instead when needed. And the height we normally keep it lets the grass stay thick and healthy to keep out most weeds. 🤔 I have always wanted one of those goats that fall over when you startle them.
😳No such thing as a lawn that's too green. Too brown, yellow, or lime colored, that's a different story 😂 If your lawn is looking like key lime pie, that is NOT a healthy lawn 🤣🤣

Thanks so much for watching!

I sure wish my grass

Glad to hear that!!! Thanks for watching
Did you have to adjust your springs when you got the mower - make them stiffer?
No they seem to have been set just right for us!

Where is this grass? I have some in the metro - atlanta area that does not get that long.
This is St Augustine grass and we are located in south Louisiana
How high are you mowing, I mow about three inches when it's high like that!
This was mowed at transport height, I think that’s right at 5 inches

Stock OEM style. 🤔 I get this question a lot, wonder why
