It developed from the battlefield tactics to make the soldiers as effective and deadly as possible, even without weapons. Muaythai is known as the “art of eight limbs” for the eight parts of the body that are used for striking and knock out the opponent: (for example fists, elbows, knees, and feet. etc.) This is the reason why Muaythai is so deadly powerful and brutal!
