Years ago I asked my wife to “come with me real quick”. I went to Dick’s Sporting Goods and then Gander Mountain (when they were still around) to “compare prices”. For good measure I also went to Thruway Sporting Good to make sure I was “getting the best deal“. She never asked me to Target, Walmart, or BJ’s ever again.
