Hello I added the dinamyc bones in my vrm avatar and it worked in Unity gamemode. But when I export it to 3tene or vseefaces, the hair and chest stay static. Someone know why?
Dynamic Bones are for VRChat, Dynamic bones work in a similar fashion to VRM Spring bones, so... once you know how to use Dynamic Bones, VRM Spring Bones is very similar. On your model instead of adding Dynamic Bones, add VRM Spring Bones.
@@Brat002 late reply but it could be because u have dynamic bone limitations on in vrchat turn them off in safety then performance options then dynamic bone
Basic idea; add a dynamic bones script to the avatar, and drag the root bone that you want to move, to the top of the script where it says 'Root'. That'll add movement to the root bone, and every other bone that's parented by it.
dont feel bad. i havent had any success with this either and ive been at it for almost an hour. idk what im doing wrong- same version of unity and everything. some white lines get left behind when i try and see if anything moves
Aw man im having issues. Im at the skirt part and I already added legs as an exclusion but they keep jiggling. Then when I replaced the exclusions with just knees it wont move the skirt at all. Very confused.
I have Dynamic Bone added and have set the root part to the head, yet when I press play and move the avatar around in scene, the hair remains static. Is there something I'm still missing or forgetting to do?
so i use vroid for my avatar but i wanted better movement and there ain't much bones for anything and its a vrm file so idk how to manualy add bones for vrn files. may someone help plz
As ive tried to google this multiple times im just going to ask here since you clearly know more than me! Ive added spring bones to my VRM and exported it, since ive found out that Dynamic Bones only works if you use the character in VR-Chat. I added the springbones to the hair in Unity, and everything worked - until i tried to use the VRM in a Capture program, i then found out that the hair doesnt move anymore.. Help? ;(
i made my first avatar in blender and was using this to be able to add the dynamics. i did the individual roots option, however she has massive clipping in the bang area. what can i do to try to fix this a little? i know some clipping is always gonna be a thing but hers is really really bad
I'm going to try this out again from scratch tomorrow, I thought I had it figured this evening but I must have messed up somewhere when doing other stuff with my model and I couldn't upload it, couldn't autofix either. I think I deleted something I shouldn't have at some point hence why I'm just gonna start from the beginning ^^
It might be because Vroid automatically combines hair mesh when exporting unless you tell it not to. Go to: Camera/Exporter -> Export -> Material Reduction and then check off the "Combine hair mesh". Hope this works :)
@@otomepeach7918 hay sorry this is a late reply. I actually hadent seen this till just now after i actually tried that XD i found I have to import dynamic bones to unity first before i import the avatar as well XD ive been kinda playing around with it all since then haha! my process for editing the bones is super long and tidious though X'D so i spend hours on hair alone
I have dynamic bones on my long haired avatar and they work fine but if Im standing at one point they obv go back to the place where the hair was. Are there any tips how I can make them just fall down? (normal hair physics?)
i see u working in unity inside vr would u tell me What program u are using becouse this looks super fun to work in unity inside vr and a big thanks for this great tutorial i was losing my mind on those hair bones xD
Add a collider in the head bone, make it a good size, then under the dynamic bones in the hair, drag the head bone with collider into the collider section.

@@Fofamit Thanks so much, VRM Spring Bones it was what was missing

@@Fofamit I have this same issue but specifically for VRChat, in Play mode in Unity the Dynamic Bone physics work but in VRChat nothing is moving

Yes waifu can teach-u!
Yo this was posted on my birthday sick
i did this and i got the entire avatar to wiggle, not just the hair...im very proud of my creation
same
I'm doing as you say but nothing is happening. the lines just stay in place even when i move the avatar in play mode.
This video was SO USEFUL thank you!
i love how clear you talk! thank you so much!
I was looking to see why this bone asset was always at the top of the unity store. now I know why. Didn't see that coming.
thanks. this is the only good tutorial about this i could find.
Thanks for the instructions
10:18 so, where is the next part with the dynamic bone colliders?
came here because of the dynamic bone tutorial, stayed because of the weird vr anime professor
me too, pal.
Why does this sound like the description of someone’s first professor lando video
Super useful tutorial. My hair looks 100% better. I may go and update my old avatars with these new settings.
omg thank you sm this was very easy to follow😁
i love this virtual you, is my favorite, sorry my bad english, no engrish speaker.
mannnn this is so cool
you are The Expert
Such chill aura and easy to learn, gained a sub~
i have a question how would we go about addingt gravity to them
I've watched it twice and still haven't paid attention, that avatar is too adorable.
you're amazing, thank you for this and all you do~
how tf is this easy for yall and im here bursting a braincell my god maybe i lack the intelligence to understand this 🙌🚶

I can't seem to get the preview thing to work... tried 8 times so I m just going to wing it lol
once you go in it change from the "game" tab to the "scene" tab
same here! it has never worked for me.
You have a pleasant voice. NGL
my model doesn't have the hair joints (for each piece of hair) how do i fix this?
lately i cant seem to publish anything. I hit the button and eventually get an error sound with a new prefeb id in my assets
thank you i couldt figure out why my hair wasent moving i added to the main hair and not the one in spine thank you so much

Could you please do the dynamic bone collider tutorial? :(
I can see the bones (orbs) move, but the hair itself stays static?
Um I have a question can u change the legs with other legs for an avatar?
Do you have to buy dynamic bones? I dont know where option to do the dynamic bones is

I uploaded my avatar vrchat and the dynamic bones don't work any suggestions on how to make it work?
Why is everything so cool almost impossible for quest users that are wireless
but what is mono
I bought Dynamic bones
but the animations tab under add component is non existant
I was wondering if it matters what version of Unity you download and why in this particular video you're using the 2018 version?

I have added a cape to my model and i putted dynamic bones in it. But in unity it says that the spine was only the metarig and spine 003
my VRM doesn't import any of the hair bones even tho i give my hair bones in vroid before exporting. do you maybe have a video on this???

Check how the weight painting is on that certain part
Question, some avatars can interact (multiplayer / emmVRC) but some don't. Do avatars need these "colliders" in order to interact?
yup if its pure dynamic bone with no colliders no one can move them etc

u really amazing
How do you keep the hair from clipping through the skull?
Add a collider in the head bone, make it a good size, then under the dynamic bones in the hair, drag the head bone with collider into the collider section.
so my hair moves if i use the head, but when I do parts individually the hair doesn't move.
sounds like you might only have 1 bone on the hair, in Unity you might need to extend the length of the bone in the dynamic bone settings.
Do you know how to get Dynamic Bones to work with Vseeface
thanks
Does anyone have any clue how to add them to a vroid model?
Here you go~ ua-cam.com/video/bn6W81v5oU4/v-deo.html
RIP to anyone buying Dynamic Bone today x).
btw anyone reading, don’t do any work in play mode!! You will lose all your progress!!
i came here for something else cause this had nothing to do with my problem
meine fresse ist das unverständlich
Don't Vroid models already come rigged, though?
The bone physics they use do not work in vrchat
So many movement distracts me from the tutorial :S
thanks anime girl
How do I get Dynamic Bone assets for free, now it has to pay $20
You have to pay for it.
nah, not gonna use a paid plugin
what a unnecessary way to film the video.......
but the hair has no collision with the face? LOL.... and this video was just creepy... You seem creepy...
Did you ever make a video with colliders? I am not finding it
i was looking through your videos for the video where you explain about dynamic bone colliders. did you make one yet?
I can make another video on it later, what part of our were you having difficultly with though?
