Taufiq Qureshi, also known as the Prince of Percussion in India is one of the best Percussionists in India who began learning the tabla under the tutelage of his legendary father Ustad Alla Rakha. Taufiq Bhai as he is fondly called by his many students and fans, has not only entertained his audiences with his exemplary performances but he has also set a new precedence in Indian classical Rhythm by introducing Tabla Bols on the West African instrument - Djembe.
