- This week on the Vickers Tactical Channel we have an America-made Ak-47, the Arsenal USA SAM7R in 7.62x39mm. This is a terrific semi-auto AK for the civilian market, that's made to a quality that's definately hard to beat for the cost. This particular rifle looks great with the plum furniture and features a RS Regulate Scope Mount and of course an Aimpoint. Go check out the video and remember to help us out by subscribing below.

They are also very accurate AK military semi-auto clones. We had a confiscated Bulgarian AK47 in Iraq that matched *everything* compared to my SAM7 other than the FA features on the confiscated one.
My couple gun buddies are always suprised with how well mine shoots.. also glad i bought it yrs ago for wayyyyyyy less money lol
God damn invader and pillager.
@@Huy-G-Le bruh chill
@@kirill_slav Bruh they sack Iraq and you telling to me to chill? Imagine your country mean of economics are oils and your oils is nationalize by the states and the wealth come from exporting oils benefit all, not just the Elite, then America came destroys your country, put on a puppet government that hands out lucrative reckless contact to foreign oil corporation and harvest your oils so much, your country temperature increase more in 1 years of them being there than literally the entire reign of Hussein while never once did they have to bother about protecting the environment, which bad mouth Hussein however you want, the man have good environmental policy and does his best to prevent monopoly of natural resources from falling into the hands of the Elite, and remain a public commodity.
Sam7 and an aimpoint. Cant think of another combo that will literally last forever.
So glad to see Larry back on the mend. The man is truly a national treasure for anyone who is/has been a member of US SOF.
You can see how much less flex a milled receiver gives the AK
I don't care about the extra weight,
I like milled receivers.👍🏽
Cold War kit with plum furniture! Should make a fine addition to the collection 🇧🇬👍
Had one for years now and have shot well over 8,000 rounds through it. Been a great piece for my collection.
Love how these videos show how much flex there is. Absolutely amazing
Yeah it's cool. Almost no flex on the sam7r. Compare it to the stamped ak's Larry has recorded and it's like night and day as the stamped ak's twist and flex from barrel through to the end of the receiver.
Thumbnail shows an FAL. Just FYI to whoever runs the LAV channel. Great video as always.
Yeah I was wondering if there's a new SAM made AK styled over the Galil or FNC.
That was my confusion as well
Appreciate you catching that.
@@VickersTacticalLAV god bless team LAV - thanks guys
I wonder if he rocked that Magnum PI moustache when he was in Delta?
Glad Larrys back I've missed him
Looking good, Vick. So glad to see that your fighting days weren't behind you. Keep up the good work.
I bought a SAM 7 a while back when they were expensive and love it. It was worth it for me. It has a new, upgraded trigger that just rocks. Haven't shot it a whole lot but i have hit Steel at 535 yards with it using a 5x optic... Today i was shooting it with a Vortex Razor Red Dot on it and having a blast. All stand up shooting at steel and soda cans. So damn accurate. If i do my part, it's a hit. shot at some small rocks and bushes about 2-300 yards across a small valley and was really satisfied with the accuracy while standing.
Glad to see you still doing reviews! Love to watch them I hope everything is going well.
Thank you Larry!! So cool to see this!! We are continuing to pray for your health and healing!
My favorite part of any of the AK type videos you do is when you do the slow mo without the top cover. Thanks!
Wow, the slow motion really illustrates the barrel harmonics of the AK. With the cover off, that might be the best live video of the AK action. xcellent video, thanks.
I love the ultra slow motion on this channel. Great content as always.
Happy to see you as always, Larry. Keep on keepin' on, brother.
Happy to see you Larry. Great stuff as always.
Always happy to see another Larry Vickers video.
I have the Sam7sf, and I absolutely love it.
Glad to see you back at it Mr. Vickers. God Bless.
I would like to hear one day " this is a select fire weapon designed for the civilian market"
How could anyone not love that weapon!
I love when you do the slow motion with the weapon in convertible mode. Very cool. Even though I know what’s going on under there, it’s still nice to watch.
great to have you back Larry hope all is well. best wishes from Scotland
Looking Good Mr. Vickers!
Getting better every day!
Love the videos Larry! Keep ‘em coming and hope you're feeling better! ❤️🤙🏽
Is there something wrong with him?
@@richardb8157 Cancer
@@Autobotmatt428 Damn I had no idea
@@richardb8157 Had it since Feb of last year. Might be related to his time in Delta Force.
@@richardb8157 But he has been in recovery since August 2021
Thanks Larry keep up the strength!
Say Larry, any update on the ATF confiscation fiasco a while back?
Cool you can see the barrel whip.
Awesome vid! Looking great Larry!
Good to see LAV back at it. Hope all is well.
Thanks Larry, another perfect new video. Best wishes for You from Slovakia, EU. God bless You.
One of these days I’ll get an Arsenal. They’re very high on my list.
Good to see lav back on the range an shootin guns and I wish I could shoot guns with this legend maybe one day im happy lav is back at it again
Great to see you behind a rifle Mr. Vickers! Keep up the good fight!
The SLR 101S ( SAM7R) has really gone up in value. Not as much as a SGL series but it's doubled in price.
When I used to live in Washington back when they threatened a ban I bought my SLR 101S for $750. And that was considered a moderate price. Now that same SLR 101S has gone up by at least 100% . Possibly more than 100%.
I added a PK-AS red dot to mine and a Krebs Custom FH.
Along with rear night sights.
Pretty darn sturdy
Looking good Lav, keep at it ✊🏻
Good to see you Larry , stay strong brother ♥️
Something so beautiful about an ak shooting brass 7.62x39
Wishing you the best LAV!
Solid per usual LAV.
Glad your feeling well enough to work. Hope it's the start of a long run. Good vibes being sent from England.ThankQ.TkEZ>UK
HE'S BACK!!!!!
Good to see you back Mr Vickers 😎👍
Looking good man, glad to see you’ve been working on your health💪🏻
We wish you a speedy recovery LAV
Remember when SKSs and AKs were "cheap" and ARs were expensive?! How the tables have turned and changed the rules since the 1980s and 1990s. Owning a AR back then was not the norm and those of us who were the most hardcore diehard "gun guys" had them. The average shooter/gun owner wouldn't have dreamed spending $700+ on a rifle. You could get SKSs for $100...sometimes even less. You could get a AK or MAK 90 for $300 or less. I had M14/M1As, ARs, AKs and SKSs back then. The world keeps turning my friends.
Evened out
Also back then next to no one did rapid fire shooting. Even among the military and SWAT shooting multiple targets fast was just becoming a new skill. Nearly everyone was about precision shooting, even with handguns. You even look at early IPSC competition shooters back then and they are slow af. A box of 50 rounds was considered a lot of ammo. Now we got through several hundred to a thousand rounds in one shooting session.
Early ak imports weren’t of any good quality, at least not the ones you could buy from a dealer under 800$.
@@GamingProspector84 The Chinese norinco were cheap and good.
@@DaveSmith-cp5kj yep that is why Republicans like Bush banned them. blew my mind when I found out some of the most insane anti gun laws have been made by republicans
Beautiful rifle.
Looking good Larry! That rifle looks sharp too!
This video is a MASTER PIECE. Everything on this video is a master piece: the AK-47 review , the video recording & the Audio Mixing engineer wow ! that guy deserve a world class award for the amazing job he did on the audio.
Awesome rifle. Glad to see you still going LAV strong!!
Damn Awesome videography. God bless LAV and team. 🇺🇸

LOOKING GOOD MR. VICKERS!
Smooth firing. Awesome 👍 rifle
I bought an Arsenal SLR107FR from my best friend for $500 a few years ago. Completely upgraded it this year with ZenitCo furniture, KNS gas piston and a Trijicon TA02 ACOG.
Doubt it
Glad to see your doing good larry! 🤙

*one feature left out: Front sling attachment is on the lower handguard, which is an AKM & AK-74 feature. Original '47 rifles its attached @ the gas tube.
Outstanding and always "Pay Attention to Detail", Circa 1988, Harmony Church.
Looking good, LAV!
I have a SAM7R and an SGL-21. Both Great AK variants.
Larry, you should do a video on the Polish Beryl when you get a chance.
Love the slow motion
Good video, looking good Larry best wishes your way.
Nice honest weapon. Cheers Larry.
I have a Vince build Romy, it is a friking sewing machine! Love it.
Lookin good LAV
Haven’t checked in on Larry in a while… looking good!
Best video on the best ak.
Welcome back Larry! Been awhile since we've last seen you. Good to see that you're still alive and kicking.
I've always wanted a SAM, but I found a SLR-95 and threw some Ironwood furniture on it (RIP Matt), shes gorgeous and is the smoothest AK platform I've shot.
looks like larry is now in good shape.. 🤘❤️
keep safe and healthy sir..
Good to see you maintaining your diet....btw your analysis is the best sir.
Still have that sling....sooo good.
Helllllll yes 🙌🏻
That caterpillar above your lip looks stellar to LV 👍🏻
Another great video
Love at first sight, milled AKs are the best no matter what someone tries to tell you... battle vegas place confirmed milled receivers are the only ones who don't fail. Also God bless Larry his looking good and thin.. May God continue to bring him good health
I have a Chinese Type 56 that would beg to differ.
@@nucleargrizzly1776 u have a milled Chinese type56 gun that has failed?
@@redfirekla No. A sheet metal Type 56 (didn't know there were any milled) that I bought new. Never failed in any way. That being said my milled Polytech has never failed either. Nor my Mitchell import Yugo M76 or M77. I've never found a lick of difference between a quality stamped or milled AK receiver.
I don't have any of the current Arsenal Inc AK's but I have a few from the old Arsenal USA (Texas). Milled or stamped they seem do better made than the current Arsenal Inc offerings.
@@nucleargrizzly1776 milled Arsenal Recivers are built tougher.
@@DG-pk3fh Link? I have several Bulgarian milled receivers. No difference other than weight.
Love it!😍😍😍
Great stuff.
Walker is good people...
Great video... loved it LAV...
Looking good
I've got a very* early production Arsenal Sa m7 and I love it. It even has a 45 degree gas block. But Arsenal USA really refuses to stand by their products when they're faulty. My other arsenal has crooked front and rear sights, making it unusable and they refuse to take responsibility.
They can kick rocks and never receive a penny of my money again.
You can’t get the sights to zero? Canted sights have to be really bad in order for them to be unusable.
At least they dont explode like century arms
Yeah on mine i had to move the front sight as far to the left as possible to zero it
@@thebean8255 genuinely unzero-able at any range. Even if I could get a decent zero, it's rendered useless by the rear sight being completely out of alignment, so I would just be stuck with a battle zero.
I am going to have the front sight post re-aligned, but I'm not about to have them replace the rear sight block. Just going to throw an RPK type rear sight on to find the battle zero I mentioned.
people need to leave Arsenal for KUSA
Hope your doing great Larry
thank you larry
great video!
Great stuff LAV be well brother 👍🏻🇺🇸
