I found myself watching for all the Gurley candles you've tucked into your displays. I love how you incorporated your green uranium glass into your Christmas decor. Carol, everything is so spectacular I can't even express myself! Do your kids and grands spend Christmas at your house? I bet they just love it there! I really love the Santa shelf. I did something similar this year and when my daughter came she said "Oh you have a Santa shrine, just like me" haha. My *most favorite* though is the office! I totally LOVE what you did! The typewriter decor is just incredible. I must do something like this to my work area (it's a corner cupboard, not an office but still..). So inspiring! I hope you had the loveliest Christmas ever!🎄❤😘

But knowing you are a Christian, I am really distressed to see many Santas, elves, pixies, reindeer, woodland creatures - and not ONE nativity scene or reference to Jesus, the REASON for the season. The ONLY references to God and His unselfish gift of His Son to us I noticed in your home's Christmas decor were a few angels, a couple of Christmas cards you received from others and a lone, "Oh Come Let Us Adore Him" ornament on your Christmas tree. 🎄 😔 Just my opinion and some food for thought, Carol. The bible talks about iron sharpening iron...I hope you have not "lost your first love" for Christ and will receive this comment in the concerned and loving spirit in which it is intended. 😘❤️💚🥰 Please have a Merry and Blessed Christmas and a very Happy New Year with your family❣️*
Hi Leslie! No I have not lost my love for the Lord. The items I have decorated with remind me of my childhood and bring back many warm memories. I do have lots of nativity ornaments on my tree… I am always careful not to show my children and grandchildren’s pictures on the tree for their privacy so I just gave you a quick little look of the tree.
