I am a lover of black olives, too! When I was little, my dad‘s aunt knew how much I loved black olives, and she always served them when we were at her house for dinner!

I don’t think our family ever had Wonder Bread growing up. I think we always had wheat bread. My mom‘s dad had said “the whiter the bread, the sooner you’re dead.” Well he died of a massive heart attack at age 55. Anyway, it seems like the kids whose families had a little more money got the wonder bread. But we definitely put bread bags over our socks when we were wearing boots. And by the way, I was always envious of the kids whose mom‘s cut their sandwiches into rectangles. My mom cut our sandwiches diagonally, and I didn’t think that was cool. Oh, the things we think of when we are kids.

I love the Homco. I would have bought the snowman and the children Santa and Mrs. Claus. I don’t have them. I’m not a big Hallmark movie watcher, but so many people are. I think that mug would have sold. Looking forward to seeing what else you got in Amish country, Carol!

Love those pillow cases you got, especially the vintage Santa face. You could paint those cutting boards, one red, to use in your decor, xmas, valentines day, and 4th of July. The other one a white or pale shade, to use for decor in the spring.
