Its funny, you cant find therapist that operate in these modalities and if you do their all booked up. The search for effective grief, sexual abuse, PTSD and trauma therapist has me super discouraged. I have AETNA insurance and havent been able to find anyone.
I am sorry about that and I appreciate you watching the video. You can message support@docsnipes.com and we can try to help you find a therapist in your area.

Absolutely love this! This is so insightful and is much appreciated! Needing a safety plan is definitely important, and the tools in individual toolboxes will also look different depending on the person and situation. ❤
Thank you so much for doing this to help everyone.
You're out here being God's hands for sure.
I went to therapy before and I quit for two reasons. Living paycheck to paycheck was one and two I'm not sure it helped but I payed attention to what they had to say.

@@DocSnipes This will sound like a given, being reminded it's ok to watch something funny or something you like that puts you in a happy state of mind is one.
Since covid I've focus more on the uprooting of normal civilization and noticing more strife and staying in hyperfocus so I'm not a victim and not turning that off every now and then to decompress.
Constantly in fight or flight.
I have someone come up to me and just start talking to me and even walking with me at the Walmart as of late.
One person yesterday and two the day before.
Sometimes I feel like the hunted.
I'm not that interesting to have people follow me in the store but I also not gonna get robbed or almost abducted again.
I say that because the guy got me in what we know now was a stolen car and he tried to drive off but I was kicking his hands etc before I blacked out.
It was very traumatic
I was told I was rescued because they found me fighting the guy and screaming.
Sometimes practicing being present in the here and now helps.
Looking around, interacting with the present environment.
Thank you! I have begun using this with clients. ❤
You’re so welcome, Tristine! Thank you so much for watching the channel
Brilliant advice! I really like that you ended on that ‘this builds confidence’ note; it’s an important point that could all too easily get lost :)
I absolutely get the thing about Gregorian Chants - and metal… that was a bit of a surprise; but cool 🤘
