In the 80's your the best at calling action and racing! Today no one can touch you to make the action so good! Your the Legend! Thank You for sharing!!!
This is by far the best video of crashes, fires, wheelstands and engine explosions i haver ever seen. The best thing about it is there is over 3/4 of the cars i have never seen before. WICKED JOB Urban Hillbilly Videos. Beat that 1320
I know some of them are irreplaceable a lot of them are so sad must cost thousands of dollars to fix and the mental damage is already done some people probably quit racing cuz they lost cuz of the crashs
It's pretty close. I go to 1320 for the insane builds they find and this channel usually has the better racing. I can see how they're pretty similar though.
Great production and editing. We tuned in to see the action but the replays and different angles give us a full appreciation of what happened. Extra well done.
One thing I've learned from these videos is that immediately upon the car no longer going straight and flat, take your foot off the gas peddle until it comes to a stop. There are a lot of $10,000 to $60,000 mistakes that could have been at least partially prevented by just getting your right foot out of it.
Well that's our Nova @ 32:43 to 33:15 losing the chutes and eating shit at the end of the track. The parachute attach point failed, both tied to the same spot and they bloomed and ripped away and brakes alone weren't enough to stop the car. Dad walked away a little sore but that's it so it could have been worse. Heck of a lot of work getting it fixed in time for the next race.
damn there aint much room down at the end ive totaled a couple nice ones 69 nova ss 396 hit a 76 Lincoln cont so yea and a 70 ss chevelle light pole thank god I was real drunk or itd killed me everybody that had that motor got in the ditch with it oh it was a 400sb with brodix heads that I took a loan out to build once a state trooper pulld in beside me at bp and said u lil bastard I clocked u at 127 in 55 its hwy 127 kid not the speed . he didn't give me a ticket tho the very next day I passed him smoking the casings and he just threw his hands up like wtf boy lol anyway glad u got the nova fixed and nobody hurt
Wish we still had the car, we had to sell off the toys when the economy took a big dump in 08-09. It was fun, lot of good times! Luckily when that crash happened, my dad had the forethought to lock up the rear brakes with the hand brake and slide it in sideways. There is maybe 20-30ft of kinda flat ground then that big earthen hill which is actually an berm to a drainage/emergency waterway/ ditch. I have seen a couple cars hit that thing and takeoff like evil knievel and destroy the car on landing.
After watching this video, I'd hate to wonder how much money was lost with all of these crashes. It's painful to watch even if it wasn't my money. Wow what a big time loss, I feel for the people who lost money replacing these sweet cars. Thanks for posting..
Just love the beginning of home videos when you or I could strap on a 20 pound camera with a 8 point harness . The fire scares me the most I love how everyone runs at it me I’m out !!!! Good stuff
WAS IN ROGERSVILLE RACING WITH MY UNCLE SOME 20 YEARS AGO. 85 CHEVY SILVERADO "BIG BANANA" ADAMS RACING WE HAULED HER BEHIND AN R/V PAINTED IN THE STARS N STRIPES. THANK YOU OZARK INTERNATIONAL FOR THE MEMORIES
a sliver vette also , finally a coup;e vettes . 2nd pass on the blue/white stripe was ok . like to see more vettes . but very cool , true MUSCLE ! ... thanks for posting , hope you all enjoy like i did ....you keep posting we'll keep watching . { wheelies were the best , but was all good } ... Thank You , God Bless All ... The Rev !!
It is amazing to see a car wreck at 180+ MPH flip, spin, tumble, roll over and smash into a concrete guardrail and then have the driver walk away with just a few bruises and bumps. If only normal passenger cars had even a quarter of strength of these roll cages the public would be much safer in their deathmobiles.
thats because roll cages add weight and that reduces fuel efficiency. Drag cars dont need to worry about this added weight because off all the weight reduction work, we expect cars to be insulated so that we hear virtually no road noise (aka the stuff that gets stripped out for weight reduction) also we expect comfort, meaning the 5 point harness and body hugging racing seat is out. not to mention street cars arent usually going over 70mph so they dont need to be built to withstand bone-shattering impacts
@@metallicarabbit Those are all tube-chassis "dragsters" with fiberglass/tin "bodies" and are so far from "stripped" stock cars and "heavy" for what they are they're not even remotely like what "we" drive every day.
Brett Kepner was a great guy. is he still around. He worked with Ron Colson the funny car driver and Jack Hecht ( son of carburetor great Ed Hecht) at United Racer the Drag Racing magazine. Great content, thanks for the upload. thumbs up.
This stuff is great and you DON'T see it on any NHRA broadcast events. Outstanding job guys. Are your videos for sale any where? Would love to purchase about a dozen for me and my friends. Thanks for a BLAST OFF show guys.
At the 6:24 mark, the guy in the right lane owes the left lane driver a classic Camero. He was roasting the tires the whole way. Such a rookie move cost one man probably his dream Camero. Glad they both walked away, but totally preventable unless the throttle hung up......but unlikely.
I thought of the days we raced on the Street&Strip how lucky some of us have been those years we used to do it for fun these days do it for a living this time and effort that goes into building these machines in a normal car they may not have survivedyet a walked away survived
I've never owned or been around this type of race cars but I've owned a lot of muscle cars and some that weren't stock, but on some of these I believe that I could do a little bit better driving than some on here!!!!!!!! I am an old guy by today's standards sixty one years old!
I wish Brett was still on TV every week giving updates on all aspects of drag racing !!!
Seeing these incidents from more than one viewpoint, and sometimes the wreckage afterwards, is a real treat, well done!
Damn. An hour and a half of good video for free. Thank you sir.
I argee
Thanks for the ⚠️ warning
Awesome!!!.. i love the engine sounds.. nothing beats the sound of a roaring V8 with a pair of turbo's, procharger or blower..sweet music.
Crazy I used to own this on dvd haven’t seen it in years... nostalgia is HEAVY
In the 80's your the best at calling action and racing! Today no one can touch you to make the action so good! Your the Legend! Thank You for sharing!!!
I remember my dad buying me this dvd at the 2006 Super Chevy Show in Tulsa. Lol
O
I remember when my brother bought this dvd when it came out. Cool to see you guys post it here.
most likely a nitrous explosion and took the the fuel cell with it
My dvd of this went unreadable years ago, glad I found this
i Watch this alot
This is by far the best video of crashes, fires, wheelstands and engine explosions i haver ever seen. The best thing about it is there is over 3/4 of the cars i have never seen before. WICKED JOB Urban Hillbilly Videos. Beat that 1320
Used to watch this on DVD dang time has passed
Great action but a little sad, these guys or gals put so much work and cash and soul in these awesome cars, true gear heads....
Show me people at home having home videos of people having sex show me people having sexloop
E z
I know some of them are irreplaceable a lot of them are so sad must cost thousands of dollars to fix and the mental damage is already done some people probably quit racing cuz they lost cuz of the crashs
Awesome classic style vid! much better than a 4 sec drag made to look like a 4 mile drag race!!
As my insurance guy says..."when the helmet goes on, the insurance goes off". LOL
Anna McKinney and still not enough to stop us racing.
...and the wheelie bars should go ON TOO!
Well as a mother, friend, sister, aunt grandmother, god~mother & finally a stepmother all I can say is {"GO RACERS GO"}#🏍️🏎️🏍️🏎️🏍️🏎️y
Wow best crash compilation I've ever seen. I feel their pain! You know that's got to hurt!
damn now it is free on youtube? 10+ years ago I bought this dvd and many others for $ . i play them in the garage while wrenching still to this day
honestly i think this is a better channel than 1320video anyone agree?
I feel like 1320video is turning into clickbate.
Agreed, although that cash days movie was pretty good.
dont get me wrong they make great content, but it always feels like to me that their videos are so similar
It's pretty close. I go to 1320 for the insane builds they find and this channel usually has the better racing. I can see how they're pretty similar though.
harman klop yup just a little YOU know it's cleetus boss tho so Ima just say eh
JUST GOT OUT OF WORK, THIS IS BALLS OUT
Great production and editing. We tuned in to see the action but the replays and different angles give us a full appreciation of what happened. Extra well done.
Its amazing how far they've come an how well those roll cages work🚑
Urban hillbilly action this is the best channel ever I love drag racing crashes
YOU GOTTA KNOW when to hold ‘em, know when to fold em 😂 also I want one of those early 60 novas in the woods to restore lol
Boy, those Fords are attracted to the wall like magnets to steel. Especially Mustangs & Mustang II's!!!
yes mustang drivers like hitting walls at drag strips and crowds of people at car meets.
Great! Liked the interviews too. Thanks!
I love how everything I’m seeing of good content lately is from my area. Arkansas is great
Jim Wayines was the 1st turbo car i ever heard in person years ago at at Dragpalooza event in houston. Silent screamer. Tripped me out.
Feels like I'm watching one of those awesome 90's crash tv shows. Just wish the interview audio could be heard better!
Haven’t seen any videos for quite some time glad you’re back from San Diego California a drag race fan with a hot rod when ready?!?!
I'm not 🚫 happy to view tragedies, but when I see a Mustang crash it brings me to my knees.⚔️🏴☠️💯♥️
I bet you spend a lot of time on your knees being a mustang fan
Man, I , could sit an watch this all day long. awesome , job on the footess. thaks for sharing that. love it 😍❤️❤️. thanks . Mike
"Footess"?
The spinning burn out at 1:14:20 is by far the best I've ever seen.
"Yeah, it's been a good year for us. I mean, every so often the car asplodes into a horrific, raging inferno, but it's been a good year." *o_0*
A rare gem, thank you sir.
Awesome vlog 👍. Nice to know that no one was seriously injured. Have to say tho , more money than BRIAN CELLS.

And not immediately stomping the brakes helps too
Very nice videos,, thanks for sharing them. I go to a few events, but never seen nothing like these.. thanks
Great video, nice compilation Thanks for posting UHV
Wow that was a sweet video, Thank you
OUCH! I feel sorry for those guys and the money that they will have to spend to fix those cars. :-(
I'd love to see some of the Shirley Muldowney races
