  • Today we delivered a beautiful new manufactured home to a mobile home park in Salmon Arm!

    This singlewide is 16 feet wide by 66 feet long and this video shows the entire delivery process from start to finish. All in all this delivery was pretty smooth, there was a tree in the driveway that made it a bit tough to bend it around the corner but after cutting back a few branches we made it through! Manufactured home deliveries are always a bit stressful because it always looks like you've got plenty of room until the house arrives. We've had some deliveries that take all day and others that are a breeze, this one went fairly smooth and took around 1 hour and 45 minutes. We started just after 8:00am and were done by 9:45am. Next week we're going inside this spacious 2 bedroom home so be sure to subscribe to my channel so you don't miss the tour! I post twice a week all about manufactured homes:
    - deliveries
    - tours
    - market trends
    - buying tips
    - You name it I post about it as long as it's to do with manufactured homes!
    Thanks for watching!

    Slick as a whistle. Looking forward to the tour. I'd like to see how they put in the foundation blocks and the skirting... so if you have all that on vid... Hope you can give us a bit of it next week. Thanks for the vid.

    The sage color is attractive. Good choice. Congratulations on your new house, Kerry.
    Is there a video that includes the final total cost with a breakdown?

    It's really nice to see that the roof overhangs the sides of the house.

      It's very pretty there. Do you have to be a citizen to buy and live there?

    Hello how are you doing I have a question what is the best height from the ground to place a mobile home

    • @KerryTarnow
      @KerryTarnow  3 роки тому +1

      We usually do a 2 inch base pad, two 8x8x16 building blocks stacked with 1/2 inch plywood between them and a 2x8 between the top block and the frame. You could replace one 8x8x16 with a 4x8x16 block but it gets a bit low if the sewer pipes have much ground to cover to get to the drop

      @@KerryTarnow thank you .. we are getting a new home but we are not going to order because we see a lot with discounts on the lot opposed to waiting and ordering.. plus we are trading in the one we have .. many said renovate the one we got I said no I want a new one period and I don’t have to do nothing.. besides we would have to level and do floors in 3 rooms because of some sifts spots which may have been done due to these high hurricanes.. but thank you I watched all of your videos
