I used to work at the "Old Duke" in Bristol. It's opposite a pub called the "Llandoger Trow" which is supposed to be deeply haunted. I had a creepy experience their about 2 yrs ago around Christmas. When shutting the pub at around 2am. Me and one other person heard noises of someone in the toilets, I checked but no one was their. We also heard sounds of people using the stairs and locking and unlocking doors just meters away from us. But knew the pub was empty. We tried to dismiss it and went to the back room to do the cash count. Then we heard the bell ringing from the main bar, needless to say we were creeped out and went to check. We heard a small thud and then on coming out of the office, in front of us on the bar floor was, a decoration from the Christmas tree. The tree was 10m away, on the other side of the pub. Needless to say, we left in a hurry. I walked home looking over my shoulder the whole way back.

I am so glad you mentioned Belgrave hall Leicester. It is right next to where I live and the area is very haunted. I have lived in Leicester my whole life and when I was a child Belgrave Hall use to do special events like egg hunting at Easter and I have many memories of going there as a child for these and this was before I became of an age where I would understand paranormal or even know what it is for that matter. I remember myself being able to smell cooking and me and my younger cousin getting a feeling of an extreme unease in a hallway and running back to our parents. Belgrave is a very haunted. You also have next door to it the Abbey Pumping Station and the National Space Centre where I myself actually work. The Abbey Pumping station gives you a very creepy vibe, it was constructed in 1891 and was used to pump sewage, the pumping room has personally given me cold spots and shivers, it's said a lot of people died by falling into the pumps. But I wanted to tell you about a terrible paranormal experience that I had about 8 years ago in the Belgrave area. I don’t get to see my dad very often growing up since my parents split up after I was born but I know my dad has always been one for believing in ghosts, so one Friday near Halloween when he picked me up to go over his house for the weekend I asked him to tell me if he had ever experienced anything paranormal and one story he told me that stuck out was that when he was in his early 20’s him a couple of mates had gone out drinking and one of his friends knew about this hidden Victorian tunnel which cuts underground. So they decided to go and head through it to get to other side. The thing about this tunnel is you can’t just find it, it’s closed off to public in the surrounding area and you have to know where it is to find it which includes jumping over a few spiked fences. So this tunnel goes on for about half an hour in pitch black with two slanted thin paths on each side of the water flow which must be connected to the nearby Abbey Park and Pumping Station. So they headed through this tunnel with one standing behind each other and my dad said once you got near the other end and you could start to see light come through that he saw what looked like a foggy shaped human flow past in the water, when his friend screamed that he had just saw something so they all just ran. Now skip many years till way past when I was born and he is now with his new partner and he is speaking to her dad, who told him about his childhood friend who died playing around in a Victorian tunnel which turned out to be the exact one my dad walked through all that time ago and had saw a ghost like figure. Now some time later after hearing this story me and my friend decided to go to this place my dad had told me about and what a ball ache it was to find. When you get to this tunnel you’re very isolated and you have to head back the way you came to get out of this ditch. When you look into the tunnel it turns to the left and you can hardly see inside to the point where you wouldn’t even see your own hand in front of your face. The first time I went me and my friend recorded it but we didn’t dare go inside and we started getting freaked out out so decided to leave, I still have the footage. I then went a second time with a different friend but I took a torch with me. It was a day I will never forget, me and my friend were just standing at the entrance to the tunnel when we shined the torch inside and we saw what looked like a foggy person sitting against the tunnel wall, in panic I pulled the torch back and to my chest and asked him if he had seen that and when he said yes we shined it again and this fog thing was floating towards us. We just bolted it without looking back.

I've experienced a paranormal activity. I was in Queen Marry Ship around in last winter. A dark, hazy night. I made a mistake of going to the public restroom. As I was taking a big shit, I realized the fuckers didn't have toilet paper in there. I was scared, paranoid, and startet to panic. Then out of no where, I felt a cold breeze, which actually made everything worse by blowing up the scent of my poop. I looked up, and to my surprise I saw a spirit in a white long dress, handing me a full roll of a toilet paper. I was so relieved. Before that incident, I didn't believe in ghosts. But after receiving the toilet paper, I became a believer.

I visited Jamaica Inn when i was about 13. I was with my Mum, Auntie and brother. It was during lunch, and really quite. We got a seat near the bar and were just stopping for some drinks. Nothing to spooky happened but we could all feel a really strange presence near us and our table. We had a look at some of the rooms but there were some we weren't allowed near. I remember the bartender saying to us room 5 has had some spooky stuff happen in there before such as shadows and ghost sightings. Going online and searching for Jamaica Inn room 5 there are some people who have uploaded videos of ghost sightings in that room. We left the Inn to carry on more south to Cornwall but it was definitely one of the most uncomfortable drinks ive ever had. I would recommend anyone in the UK to check it out.

Stayed at the skirrid inn several times, had a few strange things occur, best bit was the steak pie! Near the pub is Llanthorny priory, the chapel on the site is very strange, my girlfriend refuses to go back in even now. We visited on a hot summer afternoon a rarity in Wales, just taking a casual look around. On entering the chapel we heard knocking on the wooden pews and my girlfriend was suddenly drawn to the open fireplace, she then started to take a number of photos with her digital camera, she was quite shaken and showed me the photos. What appeared looked like smoke gradually materialising into a elongated face. We walked briskly to the entrance but was unable to open the heavy wooden door to get out. Eventually the door was opened by another visiting couple. Unfortunately to my disappointment she deleted the photos as they scared her too much. I've never heard of the place being "haunted" as such, but it was a memorable experience.

I live 5 minutes from Jamaica Inn!! ,I nearly worked there this summer and I know the Manager and most of the people that are regular staff, I've been going there for 10 years and I'm 18 now,When I walk in I straight away start feeling lightheaded! There are definitely cold spots and there's always the feeling that someone is behind you,I was queuing for a drink in August I think? and my wallet was stuck in my jeans and I couldn't get it out so i turned round behind me to say sorry to this woman behind me out of courtesy and there was no one there...but I could of sworn I saw somebody behind me in a white pearly dress! There's also a woman stuck in the Oval Mirror in Room 4 and if you go past there at night sometimes you'll see a man sitting on the wall outside that stares at the floor as you drive/walk past him,Orbs and UFO's also fly around our area frequently,I caught one on camera a few years back but to no surprise it was lost,It was orange/blue light on a very clear well lit night and it was floating in the sky and then all of a sudden it blinked out and all these blue triangular Lights started flashing miles apart from eachother was weird as fuck! The Beast of Bodmin is also frequently sighted round here! There also used to be Walter Potter's Museum of Curiosities based at the Inn which are a collection of Victorian era stuffed animals that are mutilated in a way,was pretty mad stuff and they definitely didn't have a good vibe either,There was a two headed lamb,Kittens,Bunnies and squirrels dressed up in human clothes,A Frog/duck Hybrid...some fuckin weird stuff...

Holy shit, my wife and I stopped in the Adelphi Hotel back in 2012 for several days as I was receiving treatment at Liverpool hospital. Now one afternoon while walking our corridor my wife nudged me, chuckled and pointed to a seemingly empty spot ahead of us. I asked what was so funny and she replied "look at the couple wearing fancy dress". I gave her a bemused smile and told her I saw nothing, she looked at me and explained there were a man and lady linking arms walking ahead of us wearing really old fashioned clothes, then when she gestured me to look again with her they were no longer there! If they were real people in fancy dress (which I never saw anyway) they would not have had time to go into one of the bedrooms nor could they have left the corridor any other way! My wife clearly was not joking and went white as a sheet when she realised they had disappeared into thin air. When we got back to our room she explained the clothing they were wearing and it was the same attire the people would have been wearing around 100 years ago. When we went into the lounge later that day there was some sort of convention going on, the convention was because exactly 100 years to the day the famous Titanic set sail on her doomed journey, now I know she didn't dock in Liverpool but still found the circumstances really strange! Anyways there's my story and must say I love this channel and have followed Top 5's since practically day one.

Loved this video! I wanted to share something with you regarding Westminster Abbey. I worked in the shop for several years back in the early 2000’s and we always heard stories from the long time staff about Nat Fisher. Honestly, I can’t recall who he was but he used to work in administration at the Abbey and is said to haunt the extension of the shop (downstairs). I can report that we could come down and find books thrown off the shelves constantly. One co-worker saw a book fly straight out about a foot or so before it hit the floor. This particular co-worker also felt someone touch her hair once in the shop. She reported a firm hand that brushed her hair and lingered on her shoulder. She thought it was one of us and almost jumped out of her skin when she realized no one was there!
Personally, I have encountered the sound of footsteps above me when I was in the stockroom and the shop floor was empty.
I dated someone who worked in the Abbey and he reported the sound of pages turning and the sound of someone saying “shhh” lightly when he was in one of the smaller chapels. This was in the early AM and no one else was inside the Abbey. It’a a gorgeous place with a lot of activity. Thank you for featuring it!

I investigated Belgrave Hall, Leicester over 15yrs ago and although sceptical experienced a couple of things I couldn’t explain. I was sat in the hall downstairs and felt someone blow air past my ear - I even saw my hair move. On the first floor landing it was quiet for ages then 2 of us heard a swishing sound and watched as the PIR sensors on the floor lit up one after the other as though someone walked past. I appreciate there maybe good explanations but couldn’t find them at the time. PS - not the most haunted of locations. I often found that people’s homes had more sinister things happening. Love this channel keep them coming 😱

Great spooky start!!!! I had no idea Westminster Abbey was so haunted, and when I was there in February I felt like I was being followed the whole time I was there, and by the time I left, I was trembling inside, and as soon as I went outside, it stopped. I thought it was because I maybe had too much coffee, but now I wonder, because I have never had that feeling before that visit.

I dunno if you're taking suggestions for this moth's series of videos but I strongly suggest my country's Mexico's paranormal places, my state alone (jalisco) is filled with them, one of the most notorious is the santa paula cementery known to locals as "panteón de belen", is filled with a lot of creepy stories like a man that hanged itself who to this day still casts a shadow on the wall, a vampire is said to be buried there and a baby that cries if the cementery is in pitch black darkness.

I was once sitting at the bar at the Jamaica Inn. It was a quiet day and only me and some local fellows playing cards. Sipping down my pint of local cider when all of a sudden the door burst open and the sound of what I can only describe as heavy boot footsteps made its way in. Now I'm a huge sceptic but always have an open mind about these things, I just can't come up with an explanation as there was no solid body anywhere in sight. The barman just smirked and said it happens quite often and then went to change a barrel. Surreal.

Logan Ross several reasons. 1. So I can debunk them. 2. So I can have a laugh. 3. Sometimes if I can’t sleep, I watch these and I end up falling asleep. 4. because I can. Good enough for you? 🙄

    • @cplcabs
      @cplcabs 4 роки тому +1

Logan Ross simply because the people making these videos are pulling the wood over peoples eyes. A lot of the videos are obvious fakes, yet this guy for example purports them to be real and people believe him. The same is true for ghost hunting videos, the so called ghost hunters use various devices for evp, one of which is just a radio scanning the channels and they ask a question and whatever they hear on this radio scanner they claim is a ghost speaking to them, which it’s not, it’s just that the scanner has simply passed a radio station where someone is speaking. Those people get people to believe their nonsense, essentially scamming people. If they stated that their videos were made up, I wouldn’t care, but they do the opposite and I hate scammers and as such I am going to comment, which is my right.

I don't know about those places, but my hubby and I had a ghostly encounter at Toronto's Royal York hotel. First thing I do when in a hotel is turn the temperature down to 65, which I did, then, when going out to dinner, we leave one of the bedside lamps on. When we got back to our room after dinner, I had the most peculiar feeling that we were trying to enter someone else's room, and that they were there in the room. The feeling was enhanced by the darkness as we entered. All our belongings were exactly where we left them, but the temperature had been turned back up to 72.

My pub is haunted too...guests arrive feeling just fine, but by the time they leave, they often feel intoxicated, and have a hard time walking straight, and their speech becomes slurred. Some have even become nauseous. Sometimes they become possessed by an aggressive entity, and start fighting...especially while playing on the haunted billiards table! The police have investigated many times, and said something about the patrons "consuming too many spirits"....but I think they meant too many spirits are possessing the patrons!

As well as that there is a rocking chair that often moves by itself and in the bathroom, sounds of a running bath. Unfortunately you can't visit anymore as they have turned it into a wedding venue, but it truest has an eerie feel!

I really love your videos, they are the best thing to watch at like midnight when I can't sleep XD Just a lil request, but could you possibly take a look at Loftus Hall in Ireland in one of your videos? That's got a really dark history where apparently the devil stayed the night there, got the young girl living there pregnant and the child that she gave birth to was buried in the wall... I think they found an infant's skeleton there in the 1800s or 1900s too which makes it even creepier. We went to Ireland on holiday back in 2014, hoping to go visit Loftus Hall but when we got there my brother started feeling really ill for no apparent reason so we left the grounds, and he instantly said that he felt better. I'd love to see you feature it on your channel, I feel like you'd be amazing at documenting it~

Born and raised in Leicester, never been to belgrave hall but I've been to somewhere similar. The place is known as Guildhall and I've only been there a few times, mostly as a child. Never went on one of those ghost walks or anything, just visited because its a nice place, but I did have an experience. There is a large room called the mayors parlor, it has very little inside but there are paintings everywhere. I was in there alone looking at the paintings. I heard footsteps behind me coming towards me so I assumed it was my mum (there were pretty much no other people in the building in the time) I turned to say "look at this painting" and stopped midway through saying it to find I was still alone. Freaky stuff, especially for a little kid like I was at the time!
