I change back to 15 PM Camera in S24 Ultra is Not that great when you move or at Low light very high shutter time and purple tint in night sky. Also Snapchat Camers is Bad. Battery life was very inconsistent and the Size is to big with the sharp cornerns. Otherwise very fast and snappy device with great Zoom Kamera and nice extra Features (S-Pen, Dex, simple APK Installation
Curently on my 15PM looking forward to get back to android team. I really miss the features😢 iOS makes you bend into the system Android makes the system stick to your needs😊
Hi Jen, great impression for this phone. Just an idea, maybe you can also do a review again for this phone after 3 years and 7 years in the future, since s24 ultra is the first generation which they promised to get 7 years update. Let's see how this phone ages 😊

Just my suggestion... But you shouldn't apply screen protector on this device as it will defeat the purpose of anti reflection feature it has. The gorilla glass on this phone is good enough without the screen protector. If my S22u could survive without the screen protector I'm pretty certain the S24u would as well.
If I try to take pictures with my selfie cam in any kind of dark light it makes my face almost entirely blurred and smudged out. Previous galaxy phones did NOT do this to me.
In the camera settings there are two options that you may switch off for a more natural picture, scene optimizer and another called Face, u can turn it to natural

Great video! I feel like a non foldable phone can't be that thin considering we want bigger batteries and better cameras so it's tough to fit all that. When you fold a fold phone, its still as thick as a regular phone, but yes foldables can be thinner overall and hopefully samsung does just that
Good points there Jen! Congrats. I’m in India and I am torn between the ultra and plus models. What’s your take? Since I don’t use stylus if I am pick the ultra I would do so only for the more efficient SOC. Is that right to do? Or the plus is good enough for 3 year usage. FYI iPhone 13 Pro is my current phone.
Some plusses I found. Mics are louder when shooting videos then the S23 Ultra. Speakers are much louder then the S23 Ultra. The new ai has improved the picture erasure. It does a much better job at erasing things in your pictures like fingerprints without disstorting the photo. The negatives The New Apple Always On Display. The only way to use your gallery pictures as an aod is to have lockscreen images enabled. Also Samsung did away with the brightness slider so the aod is dim. Finally the clock doesn't move up and down the screen like it did with the classic aods so you have to worry about burn in more now. This is the AOD that apple uses on it's Iphone Promax and up.

Xcellent points at the end💥. I totally agree, especially about the Z Fold. My Fold 5 is mostly collecting dust as I'm fed up with the narrow outer screen. The price on Samsung top notch devices here in Norway are utterly Nuts! The S24U with 1TB storage cost for normal customers (conv into usd) 2350,-. 2350 for a Gallux S24 Ultra!!?!! (I "only" payed 1300 though..... 😎)
For AI on camera you can turn Scene Optimizer off for close to reality picture. No more oversharpened, oversaturation, and beautification. For video, I think that way can not work, maybe using pro recorder as a default can make your video looks more natural.

I just got mine a couple days ago. I also own the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Beide sind ausgezeichnet, aber S24 Ultra is on a whole different level. They really raised the bar this year. It feels dang luxurious.

Nice video, we have an issue here in Spain, my friends and i bought the s24 ultra via preorder, almost 2 months now...when we all shake the phone, it seems that there is something moving inside...does that happen to your unit also?
The Adaptive Battery Mode will charge to 100%, the mode will charge to 80% and based on your sleeping pattern it will fully charge to 100% for when you wake up. If you have an unusual sleeping pattern then this mode might not work as intended. Also I think it will take a while to learn your sleeping pattern to work effectively.
I think you got something wrong with the numbers you quoted. S24 Ultra weights 232 grams and not 331 as you said when comparing it to the foldable phone you showed. Are you sure they have the same weight? I find it quite hard to believe. I think you should correct that in your video review because you misleading the potential buyers.
I kept rewinding the part about selfie beautify'ing you in low light & although i agree with u 100% it should be able to be completelty turned off i dont feel its as dramatic of a beautify as you make it sound. Some moderate smoothing & contrast added but if i saw only low light selfies of u for months & then met u in person I would not think twice about your natural beauty vs. the slight a.i. applied. Thankfully its only in low light & turning off the beauty features does allow normal light selfies to be unbeautified. I am quite confident this feature is also so heavily used in low light is because of some country markets widely use filters on everything and they feel they need that to compete. Its a no brainer option of completely off should be an option however. lots of reasons if i want to show my face and the ai filter gets in the way of that? annoying..! Could always use outside app to take selfie that doesnt use that a.i. assistance, but another step/thought. Lets be honest, low light selfies are pretty horrible in general..Until large sensors are norm its gonna be an a.i. dominant area. turn the phone around on a desk or tripod & use voice/timer/spen to take photo with a main sensor..much better looking shot anyway. Im happy the phone is 3 grams lighter than s23 ultra even tho its insignificant. great video!
S22U proud owner until the S25U my S22U has only gotten better yet ima upgrade through my carrier for FREE or id wait even longer Samsung phones today are freaking amazing 😻 no need to upgrade every year thank goodness 😅
Go for the Ultra if you can spend the extra $300. The SnapDragon chip, 5x tele zoom lens/sensor (with nightography), titanium chassis, and S-pen very arguably justify the difference, plus the resale/trade-in value down the line will be higher. If you'd rather save $$, I think in many ways the regular S24 is a better value option versus the Plus. The only thing you're "losing" (other than some screen size & battery life) is not having the 4K display option. FWIW, I keep my S22 Ultra on 1080p the vast majority of the time to sip battery. UA-cam & other content can be upscaled to 4K (with the display still set @ 1080p), and honestly, I really don't notice any difference. Samsung displays are just THAT good (I've even lowered it to 720p for comparison, and everything is still very legible) ! 😊
I got the ultra yesterday and it's unreal. The s-pen is neat and it's damn fast and snappy. Just need to decided if the extras are worth it to you. Don't be put off by the square shape either, it's nice to hold
@HAIRY_SOAP are the corner as sharp as people make out? I feel they don't look that bad and would definitely feel even less sharp if you rocked a case.
@sharkfintech5893 Money isn't an issue, I've just been debating whether the extras justify the price and how much bigger it feels in hand compared to the s22+ some shops near me have them on display but locked so they can't be stolen also means I couldn't pick it up to get a in hand feeling. It's 233g, and mine is 192g, I believe, so I wonder if I will notice a massive difference in weight when it's in my hand or pocket or even if it will sit in my pocket lol

We all want our cake and eat it, too. I actually *prefer* heavy, well-built phones like my gray titanium S24 Ultra. Makes it seem like it's more durable...plus, I have large, strong hands....which of course helps. Maybe, the german tech girl would've been better off with the S24Plus instead??
3:19 was she trolling right here? 😂 I had micro scratches on my S 23 ultra in like a week without putting a screen protector on. And I would never throw my phone in my pocket with my keys, so I’m not sure what she’s doing differently

But i wanna buy s24u for its flat display, camera n s pen 😅.... I'm really in doubt with its battery performance after years of using it...cuz rn the s24u is taking about an hour for full charge right.

A good phone from Samsung, no doubt. What I fail to understand, however, is why there is still just 15W wireless charging. 15W was ok six years ago...

Yes I am absolutely sure, the Honor Magic V2 weights 231 grams just like the S24 Ultra.

I'm still debating going for this over the plus, but I really can't make up my mind. The plus would be exynos for as I'm coming from the UK.
