I was there last May 8. I could spend all day there! We started at the top floor going down but my favorites were the first and second floors. By that time my companions were finished and tired I was rushed to pick my favorites. Will certainly come back here whenever I return to Japan! What an experience!
@@samurai_junjiro Yes, I bought an Itoya bag, memo pads, postcards and mini cards with envelopes. I could’ve bought more, my companions were patiently waiting for me. I’m definitely coming back! One of a kind store!
I know right? I'll be leaving on November 6th to go to Japan and I think I got it all planned out and these guys go and add something to the list. It is awesome though isn't it.? Thank you guys again for an awesome video
i loved the video and the fact of changing the subject by showing something incredible and unique in japan. here in my country (spain) the stationery shops are very small, normally small companies and calligraphy pens are difficult to find. it is easier to find them in jewellery shops than in stationary shops.
Arigato, this place is a great idea to visit,my other half starts his new job in a few weeks,so when I visit Japan in November I will buy him some of those frixion pens❤
@@samurai_junjiro Yes, for people who love stationery, I think Japanese products have a reputation for being high quality. I really like how pleasing they are to look at and to use!
@@samurai_junjiroI went to the Ginza Itoya store today thanks to your video, and the nearby Muji flagship store. I wouldn’t have even known about it without Junjiro and Akanemaru. Thank you!!

Thanks for this video I've been wanting to buy pens in Japan and Ginza Itoya seems like a good place to start. It helps that they have branch in Narita Airport.
Many thanks for all the good tips. I’d like to buy some Hobonichi Techo books when I visit Tokyo later this year, does Itoya stock Hobonichi products? If not, where can I find them?
This is my first time hearing about Hobonichi Techo books, but I looked them up online and it seems they're sold at a store called Loft. Loft has locations in Shibuya, Ueno, and also in Ginza :) 【Ginza Loft】maps.app.goo.gl/rMoaeL74SyY59DeF9
@@samurai_junjiro I was thinking about buying clothes in Japan and wanted to know if there were any brands worth visiting besides GU, Uniqlo and Muji that you mentioned on your videos. When I did a Google search, someone from Reddit said they like the clothes from Workman because it's stylish, functional and affordable. Have you heard about the regular Workman store? It looks like there are several Workman and Workman Girl stores. On their company website they said they recently opened a Workman Color in Ginza so that's how I found out about it.
I see! It is true that Workman's clothes are popular these days because they are affodable and have good functionality. We've been to the store in Tokyo Skytree before :) 【video】ua-cam.com/video/p2moaCQ-jJw/v-deo.html It was a bit of a small store, so I'm thinking of going to the other stores someday!
