I am sorry for making a mistake in the video about itzrealme doing the crystal spike. It was actually drdonut who placed the anchor, his editor cut out frames so it seemed like it was itzrealme doing it. Doctor Donut told me after I posted this video and anyways please don't hate on the video it took alot of work.

the issue with you wanting more people to know about this strategy is, this strategy isn't usefull compared to d-taps, and learning a strategy thats not useful and can be easily countered is not good for them to improve their skill at the game. That is the reason why this "trick" has been ABANDONED by people since it was replaced by d tapping, no crap you are not seening it getting used, because its not good

@@bretrace780 I don’t think you get what he meant by saying he created this technique, no sh*t he didn’t create it, most of the techniques ppl have uploaded have been used for a long time but he was the first to name it and give a tutorial to it.
Im pretty sure a regular d tap is more effective as creating a hole will give the opponent a split second to actually react and counter attack
So its probably better to do the anchor then crystal method

I used to do it the other way around with old kb, I would place an anchor first to blow them a bit in the air and then crystal (its insanely inconsistent now tho cuz new kb, its still kinda usefull in hole.)

I still think dtaps are better
1.Dtaps require less materials and isnt as hard as this
2.Dtaps are usually faster
I saw that in a comment you replied that pearling can counter dtaps
Pearling to avoid dtaps is to not take kb but its almost the same here,if they pearl,your first hitcrystal wont pop them and technically the only good thing which is popping them once with the anchor or twice with airplace anchors which basically renders crystalling it useless.So technically its just airplacing and u waste one obi and crystal(however if you do manage to pop them using the crystal itll be efiicient,if not then its basically just airplacing which isnt considered a new technique)
Also if they pearl flash u could just spam crystals soo

to those saying oh but itzrealme just did it, you didn't make it. done before, that clip of donut and itz watch in 0.25 donut played the anchors and glowstone, itz only hit crystalled otherwise donut would've died. ax did in fact futher develop, and create this technique, as there is no other proof of vids of any1 doing it.

this is a good video but (as im sure u know by now) its not new
the reason its not done often is because fights often revolve around two "mini modes"
flat and hole
usually people when people do flat they want to stay in flat and anchoring will harm that
I think it would be sometimes uselful to get some free pops, I've thought some people in drain and I got 3 extra pops from it

Its not sakura anchor goes on top of the obi, crystal Spike goes with a 1 tap and insta anchor next to the obi.

ItzRealMe is literally macroing. I do not appreciate this video as it shows the integrity of the crystal pvp community is not up-to-date and should be fixed. You can go frame by frame and see that Itz placed both the anchor and the obsidian in the exact same frame which isn't possible.
drdonut told me that he placed the anchor, his editor cut out frames sorry for the mistakes.
