Kayak day trip on the chesapeake bay

Day trip around the Mathews area. Launched at winter harbor.
I never remember the bugs being so bad. As soon as I stepped on the beach they went into attack mode and I thought I was wearing pants again due to the amount of bugs on my legs.
I didn't bring the bug spray but caked on the sun screen.
Besides not having a flame thrower on me to fight the bugs, I'd say still a good trip.
Camera: Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS1.
Camera is mounted on deck bag. I drilled a hole through top of deck bag, pushed a screw through that matched the threads on the camera and then gorilla glued around the screw.

Really nice vid. I found it when looking up Easkey 15 as I am doing an 80 mile paddle across Scotland (Great Glen Canoe Trail) in one next weekend. Don't think the weather will be as kind as you had :-) I will be in Virginia Beach in July this year and will have to try and get out for a paddle - with bug spray!
