- Hi guys, I had this error for a few days after buying Minecraft on PS5 until I figured out the solution. Microsoft, Sony and Minecraft support were all useless and kept referring me to each other and I couldn't find a definitive fix online but I think this may be how to get around it.

Did'nt work. Amazing how a bug that removes 50% of the features on the game still exists and has had no attempt of a fix 3+ years later. Really shows how they don't care about their game at all

Couldn't you upload saved data to cloud, delete it and then download it again once you're in your account?
I don't think it is Sony's fault aswell, Microsoft and Mojang are the ones that have made this awful system that an unintelligent AI can make in literally 30 seconds.
put the world in an usb then plug it back in and load the world inside after you are done

Microsoft loves making things hard for players. there’s no permanent sign in with xbox so why annoy us with this problem on PlayStation? Oh because they want to annoy us for playing their special Microsoft game that isn’t played on their special Microsoft console

Damn I was just tryna play servers with some friends. Ended up deleting all my worlds. Including the one I had with a friend of mine who passed. Just deleted memories that I can’t get back. I miss you ashton, you will never be forgotten

@@luvvv.chr1ss I disconnected from my wifi and retyped the password. That didn’t fix the problem right away but the next day I gave it another shot and it works now. I can’t say that will help for you but I hope you can figure something out
I don't have an issue with it saying the account is already linked, my issue is that when I do login, it just stays on the signing in screen forever and if I hit circle then it just goes to the main menu.

The method I used (which I learned thanks to a user in the youtube comments) is to scan the qr code and access it many times, I personally had to do it 13 times, but you have to persist in logging in, eventually the "you have completed the login correctly" icon will arrive, and that’s it, thanks for the attention

Okay but mine let’s me sign in to my Microsoft account but my PS4 doesn’t register it. I’ve never connected an account before, I don’t get error codes or screens or anything. I’m about to lose my mind.
I linked my ps account with a Microsoft under my school email years back. Now that I’m out of school and my email doesn’t exist anymore, I can’t access the Microsoft account. So now I’m stuck with a Minecraft account that can’t do half of the features I’m supposed to. Great system they have in place here!!

TertraTech, I cannot thank you enough for the sacrifices you made through your trial and error process. As one can imagine, im sure it was not easy, I am sure it took time, so thank you. Your video has now given me the ability to reunite in the minecraft world with my boys to defeat the ulmighty ENDERDRAGON... My process to getting my account back took some trial and error as well. I had to uninstall game twice and follow though with some flip switches on the cross-platform option but after about an hour and a quarter of time I unlocked my account and I am ready to play and slay the dragons all thanks to you. I send forth gratitude towards your name, legacy and kin.

I’ve created new accounts and it still gives me this same message… I’ve deleted saved data, redownloaded the game, etc. this is absolutely ridiculous screw this game, Microsoft and Sony
Question: if you remove saved data do your skin packs get deleted or your worlds? If its the worlds how can you backup one after you do these steps.

if you have ps plus all the backups will be in your cloud storage
I gotta say. If ur trying to swap Microsoft acc on ur main PlayStation account that ur using. It wont work. Yall needa readd the description on the QR screen. You can only do it once per account on PlayStation. YALL NEEDA READDD

I found solution from a random comment somewhere. Ran into the problem , tried about everything I saw on the internet outside of deleting all of my save data. found a solution that at least worked for me.
So this is stuff here I I had done in the settings, but it may be irrelevant. A previous videos had these instructions and I think I still had this active when what I did worked (want to be thorough about instructions here lol)
All in settings:
1) in general, turn enable cross-platform key off
2) in creator, delete old logs
3) in storage , clear Minecraft store cache
Again that part could be irrelevant, but a previous attempted solution told me to try those settings, so I don’t know if it had any overall effect (and none of those things clear worlds)
What actually worked for me, which is a pretty dumb method :
Using the QR code, I tried to log in, via my phone into Microsoft as many times as I possibly could in rapid succession. Obviously each log-in takes like a min or so, so it’s not fun to keep doing, but for me I did it back to back like 9 times and it worked, OG solution post I saw said they did it like 13. I would try up to like 20 and see if anything gives.

Nope did not work for me, I even tried to unlinking my previous account and that didn’t work. This is a major bug that needs fixing but don’t see it happening any time soon.
Yeah I see comments like these on any video, it’s just not gonna work. Never gonna work either, for some people it’s been happening for years. Only thing to do is create a new PlayStation account and lose all worlds and everything else basically.

It didnt work for me it says that theres a previously connected account that i have to link with but i dont have the email or the password for that account
same here. it asks me to sign into my account, but i do not remember what account i used. now i am stuck and cannot relink a new one.
My problem is different, mine says “please sign in with your previously connected Microsoft account” but that account is NOT my actual Microsoft account that I use, and I want to CHANGE that connection but it just won’t let me and it’s super irritating

It didn't work for me but I appreciate the work you did. My solution was not the best one but I created a new profile on PS4. Since only one microsoft account can be connected to a PSN account. I logged in with a new email and it worked for me

guys this stuff doesnt work. had the same problem for ages and couldnt get into realms. what i did was make a brand new psn acc and microsoft account, paired those, and just got my friends to friend request the new account. its not ideal but its a straight forward and relatively quick process and doesnt affect saved data on ur original account

If ur tryna log into a diff Microsoft acc on ur main PS acc. It wont work. U linked 1 microsoft acc to ur main. Thas it. READ the description of the QR screen. If thas what ur trying to do. U didnt read so ur at fault for all those worlds u lost

@@kwnosnikos lets just say on ur main playstation account, u log in a Microsoft acc to that main acc. That Microsoft acc cannot be used in another PlayStation acc. It already linked.
But it weird, if u was on mobile, u can log in different Microsoft acc as much as u want.
If u made a new PlayStation acc, it still wont let u log in to whatever old Microsoft acc u are trying to log in bc it like already linked to another PlayStation acc.
Each PlayStation acc can only link 1 Microsoft acc. It literally tells u in the QR screen to be careful which acc
It 100% works if it doesn’t work the first time keep on doing the steps. You don’t have to delete the game just the save data

@@AtrumDraco i deleted saved data first, didn’t work, just loaded back up and went onto the cross platform section and flicked it off and back on again, closed the game then loaded back up and used the QR code to log into my microsoft account and it worked. i didn’t have to uninstall the game. i still haven’t got my worlds though:( hoping the deleting the saved data didn’t delays my old worlds

The only problem for me is whenever I play online my Microsoft gets banned for suspicious behavior when I didn’t even say anything, I am not breaking any rules at all and it’s so annoying because I keep giving Microsoft my phone number they unban my Microsoft account and then I can play for a day before they ban it again

Saved data won't delete worlds unless you manually delete them yourselves. But it seems the second deleting process he does completely wipes EVERYTHING you ever did on Minecraft, risk if you don't care bout data or have advanced ways to back some of that stuff up.

Guys i found a solution its simple make sure u are useing the same email for your Microsoft and PlayStation account if they are different email don’t change the Microsoft change the psn (to do this go to user and account then click account change the email to the one u use for microsoft) and then go to minecraft and login normally to microsoft account thank me later😅 if u have any questions i will be responding

It doesn’t work i ended up deleting a Minecraft world I made with my dad im tired of this shit Microsoft needs to fix this
This worked for me and others Go to (setting) on the PlayStation then (Users and Accounts) then to (Other) then do
(Restore Licences) then try to sign in again.
If that doesn’t fix the issue maybe these extra steps that I also did will hopefully help fix the issue.
(You DO NOT need to delete any worlds)
(You will NOT lose any paid content and will only have to re download then activate any content you Uninstall/Delete/Use for your worlds in the Minecraft market place)
In the Game/Minecraft settings go to (storage)
•Delete all resources packs
•Delete World templates
•Delete cached data
•Delete Behaviour packs
Deactivate any (Global Resource) that are activated Go to (Creator) in settings then delete old logs then go to (General) and tern off (Enable cross-platform play) then close game go back and do (restore license) in PlayStation settings again.
Sorry if this still doesn’t fix the issue

It didnt worked for me but i found a solution:close ps4, hold the ps4 console button (console not controller) until you hear a beep. Then choose restore database. Problem fixed. It deletes your corrupted files thats it. It doesnt delete any important data.

This doesn't work. I found a real fix to this though it wont be much help. If you're mc account used to be connected to a different email and you remember that email, you are able to connect to it through that email, only problem is actually knowing the email
It has to be the same email as the one on the PlayStation account for it to work
