It`s the same reel like a whisker 25 qd, just the spool is diferent and some parts have a diferent colour. But what realy diferent is, the price...
One for the tackle tarts
You should be doing a review, not a free advert for Daiwa, no mention of price either 🤨🙄
The video is meant as a first look at a newly released product. A review will be produced on the performance once we've used the product - to review something on sight alone would be pointless.
I didnt think you’d mention how similar it was to three other reels in the range; but you did, so full marks for that. Shame nothing much eluded to it being worth 2.5x the cost of the Castizm feeder though.
For anyone that doesn’t know, MagSafe is a saltwater feature that Daiwa have clumsily tried to flog to freshwater fisherman. It hinders the usability of the reel (pick up, inertia etc) and makes it much harder to service. Shimano make a point to remove all of their saltwater seals and gaskets for the freshwater market so they can promote the weight-saving factor; Daiwa on the other hand say it improves lifespan - which I would confidently argue is complete fallacy.
Sorry, but there's a shimano ultegra Ci4+ 5500 xtc for half the price.
Mag seal was already applied to the early castizm. The only thing so far that makes this reel different is the shallow spool with double clip and foldable reel handle. That does not justify the price tag in my opinion. But hey it says tournament. Same thing with the luggage range Nzon vs tournament. Same items different price strategy. Seems a bit weird to make your turnover this way...
I've had this reel in my hand... And honestly I've 2 TDR myself and they are a smoother reel with a nicer handle at €250.... There completely overpriced
still no mention of the price , it does look the dogs though
RRP on these is £435.
Don't get me wrong, it's a lovley bit of kit but Honestly, 450 is a ridiculous price.
It isn't going to catch you any more fish no matter what anyone says.
The Ninja range will do the job just as well.

I agree with Neil's comment £400 really!! Not aimed at your average angler or even some match anglers on a budget. Hope you enjoy it and it's as good as you say.👎👎
It’s not your average reel though 🤷🏼♂️ it’s for a serous feeder angler who fishes at the highest level possible
