These are the most valuable videos I’ve ever seen on UA-cam. I watch a ton of hunting content and haven’t had TV for years, so all I watch is UA-cam. This is absolute gold and i can’t believe it’s free.
Good video David. I'm 62, and originally from Mississippi. Lived in iowa for 7 yrs. I've harvest 90 plus deer in my lifetime with a bow. The interesting part of Ur video is this,,, not listening to B.S on the internet is important because, what we do, is more important. Good luck with the big deer.
I’ve been watching realtree videos & TV since I was a kid. They have turned me into the hunter that I am today. I would rather meet Bill Jordan than Michael Jordan ,we just have more in common. Love your camo & videos .Keep up the good work & content 👍🏻
Thank you for talking about Georgia and the south east. Not many hunting channels include the southeast and the state of Georgia and how different it is compare to the Midwest. Awesome video!
Hello David, I met you briefly and shook your hand at the 2024 World Deer Expo in Birmingham close to roughly 3 weeks ago. I live in Hull, Georgia and you’re exactly right on every single issue that you spoke about on this episode. I’ve experienced these things as well, especially 15 or so mile an hour winds, deer don’t move here in the Southeast but a still no wind with a light drizzle does have deer moving, plus bucks. High barometric pressure makes deer move for some reason. I’ve heard that same saying that my deceased father in law used to say the same thing about “fishing from the east is the least”, I follow that when fishing the ocean or shoreline but a north wind or slightly northeast wind fishing is the best, or you have a better chance at catching fish and I think it applies to deer as well too. Thank You for your tips from one Georgia boy to another!
One thing about high winds in the southeast if its windy all day long go set up with the wind in your favor closer to bedding areas the wind will cover up most sounds the wind will usually calm down a bit before dark even if its only 25 mph down to 15 the deer have been laid up most of the day an they are hungry they will leave bedding areas early an move alot Ive seen it many times
Thank you for sharing your experience. In my experience, deer do what deer do regardless of the moonphase. Science has proven this with collared deer. When you feature the full-moon and sit in the woods at that time, you will see deer doing what deer do otherwise. I have not paid much attention to the rise and setting of the moon and deer movement. Interresting. Hunting the back end of a cold front makes a significant difference in deer movement. I shot a great buck in the middle of the day in WI with a 20 mph wind. I think deer get nervous with strong wind and move more. Barametric pressure at 29.9-30.4 get more deer on their feet. Rain gets deer on their feet because again I think they get nervous.
A huge factor is the body temperature of the deer, they can't sweat, so when it's hot they overheat faster and move less. When they get cold they have to bed down to warm up because they don't know how to build campfires 😂
Bottom line is doesn’t matter what the weather or moon is doing if your not in your stand or blind. However, credit to anyone that can’t get paid to give an unverifiable opinion and continually push a product or company.

Met David at Bass Pro back in 98-99 in (Davie) South east Florida always admired his faith and success as a man and role model to a young deer hunter

Same with A east wind. My farm is horrible deer movement on a east wind

Truth 💪🏻
You should watch the msu studies of deer movement in according with the moon ,don't much of any difference whatvstage the moon is at
