I've said this before, but this is one of the nicest looking Cobras I've ever seen, and I've seen literally thousands over the past 20 years. If I ever build another one , it will look very much like yours.

I’ve watched your build with interest and you’ve made a stunning car, and for 60k I think it’s a bargain. However, as a Land Rover Defender owner, I’ve watched or heard you discuss some things with amusement (hot foot box and trans tunnel being a classic). But as a Brit who’s experienced these classic cars over many years, my advice for spring/autumn use, (rather than having a hood), is to have removal carpet sets, waterproof seat covers, and then wear a sturdy waxed jacket and leather fighter pilot’s helmet with goggles. Sorted. And you’ll look much much cooler.

you are welcome! there are some hard tops that look half-decent, but overall I tend to agree that it's rather a waste of money
Hey if you attend the Corbra meet in London, OHl, I would love to see your replica in person. I live very close to the meet. I went last year and it was pretty cool

I wonder if a strip of a clear wrap material installed to the area around the lift a dots to prevent scratches.
I was thinking about it as I was struggling with the top. the answer is "yes", it would help, but it needs to be installed along with liftadots because installing it later will be a massive PITA
If you flip the sun visor brackets the other way up you should be able to fit the soft top with out removing the sun visors.

An idea to reduce the scratching from the attachment snaps. Is find some small felt disc pads for furniture. And have them rest in between the stem and the cover buttons.
has to be real thin pad though, otherwise the step won't snap in place
Before you took off top I wanted to see how you got in and out. I've ridden in a Cobra kit with no top and that was difficult. Just wanted to see process of ingress/ egress.
well, I can say that I don't an issue of getting in and out of a cobra without a top off, but with the top on it's a lot more difficult.

That's a ceramic coating with matte black color
Is it a spray can also when is your next car meet I would like to see your car and others in person I’m getting mine in a couple of months
@@benjaminrodriguez9968 No, it's not a spray can, it's the process similar to powder coating, but somewhat different. but I know some people paint it with VHT paint (just google it)
I'm regularly at Main Line C&C, and some events in the vicinity. this next month is going to be crazy, so not sure I'll have a lot of time for events.
