Hands down one of my favorite series you have made! It catches your attention from the start of episode 1 and I find myself waiting in anticipation for episode 5 lol
Laughed out loud when you talked about finding ways to find time to regenerate mana like moving slightly ahead of the main group (whenever possible) knowing that once the mobs they're attacking are down, you have a bit of time to drink while they catch up to you. These are things I didn't even really think about; it just came instinctively the more I played I guess.
I've loved playing Blood DK this expac and I just came from watching that series and I've seen the improvements, so then I watched some healing guides and am looking forward to leveling a healer, keep up the great work
Thanks for making content like this. I’ve always been afraid of healing or tanking. Now I know what to be looking for and how to tweet my gameplay if needed. Thank you.
Preach really thanks for these series. At first, i was like yeah sure its possible, but i mean im not that good so i probably couldnt tank a +9 and do it decent. But then today i tanked those 3 m+ with you, and it really opened my eyes
Just wanted to say, Im maining a healer(resto druid 887), and really like the healing and tanking series. I already knew all of these things, and just wanted to say, its great that you are trying to help new ppl get into healing and tanking.
I have supported your channel for a long time and have always enjoyed your content. With that said, it would be more useful if you were making a guide on how to deal with these situations on a class by class case. Such as " Resto Shaman Guide in Mythic +" etc. Teach me how to heal with a specific class.
First arcane mage I had ever seen in legion was in a pug with me while I was tanking, first thing they did was whisper me before we started to make sure I gave him enough time to drink before boss pulls. First thought was wtf then I remembered from my mage, oh ya he is probably arcane.
Resto druid is so nice for that quick drink ! I'm always waiting in stealth 10 yards before the rest of the group :3 Only regret is not playing night elf so i can't get out of combat with Shadowmend
Oh, also wanted to ask if you're still going to do that Disc priest video. That's the one healer I've had trouble with mana on. :( Even with trying to move ahead and be efficient with drinking.

Same goes for the clutch saves or triage applied as a healer in 5-mans; seeing everybody's health down in the
Preach definitely wanted to say I absolutely love your content. I'm not playing the game currently, but these videos are awesome to watch to see where the game is progressing! Hopefully, I'll get to try out Legion soon!
I started mythic+ and raiding a bit before en LFR came out, and I was about 845-850 on a Druid healer. Now I'm 869 and getting into better groups easier and I have improved a lot with my healing honestly
blinks516 t9 be fair you can't sort dungeons by sub type ( mythic, heroic, m+, normal) they all show up for the people looking for a group whether they want a normal or m+. fault is on blizzards end
iceee420 You can. Just type "key" in the searchbar if you want all mythic+ dungeons to be shown. Should work with heroic aswell. Just searching for mythic normals isnt easy as it is going to show keystone mythics aswell
If you type in mythic it will bring up both options of mythic and mythic keystone, you can then select which one you want and then filter it that way. +iceee420 if you type in the first 3/4 letters of that dungeon you will have an option to select which difficulty you want to narrow it down to.
@Preach, was just wondering if Andy drew the thumbnail. It really really good. Ps. love the video. Your making me want to come back and play my healer! Overwatch is just to good at the moment though ;)
just a tip @preach, the innkeeper water is better then mage food, it regens smoothly and faster since it totals 110% of your mana instead of mage foods 100%, just a heads up! love the vid
The only thing i don't agree with is mana. You need to plan out drinking before you start so that you don't slow down your group, depending on the level of the keystone. Also, tyrannical makes mana management a thing for bosses, depending on the power level of the group.
Hi! Great video one more time, can you share your elvui and weak auras for you shammy resto? I Like it very much and want to try it out! Thx in advance!
can someone explain to me how preach made riptide to show as an icon on the top left corner of the unitframe in grid? its driving me crazy and i just cant find how to do it anywhere
I'm having trouble finding a current main. I love to ranged dps a tank. I'm currently play Druid but being able to do all 4 specs is such a big burden and I feel like I have to do them all and it's to much. Idk what to do
You talk about class utility to help the group and I think about my resto druid and feel we were a bit forgotten on that note, we lost probably the only good utility we had with stampeding roar.
Take at a look at who is quitting, take a look at the type of content they are delivering, now take a look at what preach does. Easy to figure out why.
I have to admit that I don't quite understand where you're coming from there (with all due respect), but surely even YT content creators are dictated by the content offered by game developers themselves in the end - similar to the concept of 'flogging a dead horse'?
I agree also, I have no idea what he is on about. This video I feel is one Preach has done just in a different form. The main issue is, in my opinion, engaging content is drying up. For example, there is content for League because you can do soo much with soo many different characters with just the one map. However with WoW you do not have that degree of flexibility. For example, there is no variation to how you can do the dungeons, and almost no variation to how you can play a class. How good would it be if your class could focus on different stats and it made them all viable (eg. a hunter can go haste for shirt fights, but a mastery hunter is better for longer fights, versatility hunter is better for mobile fights and so on). If you also listen to HvB Az chats, he quit because the game wasn't what it once was, the immersive game that he enjoyed and saved him from a downward spiral in his life. Legion is a good game, but people do not want a repetitive game, they want an engaging game. Unfortunately Legion is slipping. The biggest fault is they have 10+ years of content that should be used and isn't, making it such a waste. For example in BC, I raided with friends MC and that was soo much fun, but now it is a solo experience :( Just my opinion though. Blizzard keeps pumping out content, but the content is not easily recycled.
Mainframe Preach loves WoW always has always will through the good and the bad, he's a hardcore end game raider and is all about getting the average joes like me to experience that type of content he does, because really it isn't that hard you just gotta give it a go. The wow content creators I know who have left are nothing like Preach. I don't believe they are hardcore fans and they are definitely not hardcore pve focused end game raiders. Preach is very objective about things and whilst he does criticize the decisions wow devs make from time to time it hasn't ruined the game for him. The creators who've left got burnt out on content they probably weren't enjoying from the beginning but it payed the bills producing the content so why stop. This is my opinion though most might disagree. There are several million people playing WoW you're 1 person no matter what you may think the game is never ever going to be 100% the way you want it to be, you either accept the bad because what's good is really good or you don't accept anything and you move on.
Hey there. Rest assured that I wasn't in any way attacking Preach or his content. Indeed whilst I'm quite new to his channel I enjoy and understand his take on Wow content, however it would nevertheless be interesting to find out how he foresees his content progressing here on in for what is essentially a 13 year old game.
huh, I feel the complete opposite about healing in mythic + dungeons. As a resto shaman, I feel like I'm heavily restricted with my toolkit in dungeons. Chainheal and healing rain are almost never something I can use, along with cloudburst totem which tends to be my favorite talent in that row. It just seems like I'm spamming riptide and healing wave and surges until the dungeon ends. Sure Stunning and giving speed boosts is fun, but that wears off quickly. I absolutely love healing in raids, but when it comes to pushing high keystones, it feels like I got the bum end of the deal in the party. (My opinion is completely subjective, not trying to call out preach on anything, just surprised since I almost always share his opinions)
I disagree with this. Dungeon healing actually feels like triage healing to me. You use your different heals in different situations, and, more importantly, your choice of healing spell matters to the survival of the group. In raids it often feels restrictive to me, because you have a healing team consisting of classes that can do different things better than the others. As such, every spec mostly only does what it is good at, and leaves the rest of the healing for the other specs. In dungeons, you can't do that. You have to heal all of it yourself. Also, as an aside, it often doesn't matter much if you make mistakes in raids. The rest of your healing team can cover the damage 80% of the time, and, as such, how well you played only really matters to the recount healing meter.
@Preach Gaming Mind doing a short video or segment on some other video on healer anxiety at some point? I've had some really bad experiences in both Mythic dungeons and Normal raids that have just completely destroyed any kind of desire to aim for endgame and was thinking if you'd have any tips on how to prevent that from happening?
brixbloxer Trust me, i've already "jumped in". Problem is that 9 times out of 10 i got kicked out or had every DPS leave was due to people standing in shit or not interrupting anything resulting in way too long fights and potentially me running out of mana thus not being able to heal them. This of course means i'm a shit healer and should kill myself and uninstall WoW. And i'm not even kidding when i say it's literally always the 3 DPS saying this shit. I've yet to come across a single tank that was abusive and i'd like to believe it's thanks to me actually doing my thing which is to prioritize the tank above the dps when choosing who to heal when a mechanic goes south in a bossfight.
TBH, if it's really 9/10 times, then perhaps you were the problem after all. Anyway, I might have some advise for you. First of all, try to relax a bit and try the proving grounds a few times. Healing isn't an inherently difficult job, but if you panic as soon as damage comes in (which I seem to recall happening to myself when I was new to it), then suddenly it gets impossible to keep anyone up. I reckon it's about getting familiar enough with the class, your spells and keybinds, so that you have the time to heal pro-actively in stead of reactively. As soon as you have that surplus of concentration, I think you'll stop "falling behind" on healing immediately, will start to recognize the situations early and deal with them accordingly. I do think that healing is the hardest role to get into initially, so it's easy to be discouraged. Perhaps you could try healing raid finders too. Not because that will be a challenge in any way, but because it won't matter if you fail. If *you* take raid finder (or normal raids) seriously, I'm sure it could be used as a great way to become familiar with when to use which spells (three people took damage? Chain heal...).
Set yourself up a challenge. Tell healer "Don't heal me for entire dungeon please". Unless it's neltharion lair you can manage. It is your job to avoid all the damage you can avoid while doing all the damage that you can be doing.
I personally haven't played WoW only mmos I played are Swtor (since 2012) and GW2 (since 2013) I am skilled as a Scoundrel Sawbones healer which is a HoT healerWhich would be like the Scoudrel heals from Swtor on wow?
you say all this about mana but still got kicked from a heroic HoV because oom Just kidding, your series has inspired me to tank and heal, so I'm glad for them
Hey, is there anyone who can help me. I have been a rogue ever since 2004. I no decided to reroll a Monk Mistweaver, But i am having a lot of trouble on what healing spells to prioritize.
Cause they have, since the launch been OP. Minstweaver and Shaman are the most overpowerd cookie healers for mythic + dungeons. Even better than a druid, cause of all the spike dmg.
I guess... I think all healers have there strong / weak points my shaman is lots of fun for 5 man content but sometimes in raid environment i feel meh... trade offs i guess but w/e... I mainly raid enhance i dont enjoy raid healing just my opinion and like anything its subjective so yeah...
that's my feeling don't care about Sims... I have no issues healing m+ up to 10 I have not gone much higher... again read what I wrote it's subjective you understand that word?
i went for fun my key VoW +2 on my newdinged resto shaman 836.. died second boss cause the tank would not take the adds even tho i LoS'ed ... he said dont be a useless person and dont do content u cant do.. for info this tank havnt had used his active mitigation once through the entire dungeon.. result depleted and i will keep fighting these pub stars who think to highly of themselves... good video preach always calming words to hear after gettin screwed over.. have a good day sir!
what addon does put the healing texts on to party characters overhead? scrolling combat text puts it just in middle of the screen :( Or is it set in elvui somehow?
I have huge trouble finding a group of friends to play with as a healer. I pug constantly and as you've mentioned - its terrible. What do? My guild only hops on for raids it seems..
Xeando this is the general problem here. I have the same problem, back when i had friends to play with, most of them had done their content when i had the time to do it. so 90% og the time i was forced to do it with puggs.
I tried healing on 3 different toons so far that are capable of healing myth+. I just can't get into it, but Monk was the most fun if I had to choose. Shaman is also good and has some good utility on short cd.
My biggest advice to new healers would be to use your toolkit! So often you see a Disc priest that rarely drops Barrier (or its after the damage has gone out) or a Monk that never Cocoons the tank. As Shaman, Spirit Link saves lives and we have the best interrupt in the game - use them!
This is a problem in all games that have cooldowns. People all too often wait for the perfect opportunity to use them, in stead of using them more often to make the whole run more smooth.
I almost never need to use a leytorrent potion to regen. Just drinking between combat keeps my mana up just fine. The only time I could see someone having an issue is if they get a tank who never leaves combat long enough to start drinking.
when i rerolled to my hpally i got up to a +10 EoA at 841. we didnt make the timer and it was a full pug minus 2 people who were in the same guild but we completed the 10
Matt Brackenbury the community has put it in your head they need to be above 860. That's not the case at all. You'd be amazed what you can get done at and below 860.
I am a H pally. I no problem being first or second on the healing meters in raid but higher mythic + like a 6+ my raid healing style falls behind (double beacon). I switched to beacon of Virtue but I find it really awkward to use. Any help would be great!
I always use Lightbringer, (I have around 35% mastery so that really helps), also the 30% extra healing on light of dawn is really nice, one thing I like to do is throw a bestowed faith on myself, and LotM people who I know will be close to death if they aren't quickly healed, Devo Aura is a god send, knowing when to use that will save you, and just overall just managing your wings.
Yeah, I don't really find any issues, because AoE damage in legion from what I noticed usually gives you enough time to throw a light of dawn, holy shock flash of light flash of light, etc to get the group back up to a more reasonable level, and for those moments where you know that wont, and you know you'll start falling behind, wings are a god send.
I usually go with Bestow Faith (helps with catching up since it's a delayed heal and you can time it out nicely), Cavalier, Blinding Light (BL is really good for a quick AE interrupt), Devotion Aura, Holy Avenger (A nice minor CD for catching up), Sanctified Wrath, and Beacon of the Light Bringer.
My first day as a healer I wanted to practice with a guild group, they immediately pushed it into M+, and we ended up finishing a +11 while I was 880 ilvl and had no clue what to do (on 7.3) :')
I had so much fun healing with all classes mythic+. But in raids i find healing disturbing. With 5 healers there, how are they supposed to communicate who is healing whom. 80% of my (our) spells are wasted because someone is healing the target aswell? Great.
Vuzuul Thing is that unless you go in to class spesific things you can do that is in my eyes prob the easiest guide to do as you can get it done per instance as melee dps and ranged dps, but i might be wrong there, but in my eyes at least it seems the most logical way to go if you are making a guide like these for dps.
I sleepily read your comment as "Thought he said he was going to play Minesweeper" ... Was definitely confused for a sec there. "Mate, what's Minesweeper?"
883 Holy priest equipped (887 with legends) I kicked off as a plebster healer, but now I am a big boi memer who has over 450k hps on Mythic Dragons fights, lol..
Richard Jeski at 880 you still have a hard time getting into 7+ and upwards. as Preach says it's all about playing with people you know. (as a healer it is very easy to feel exploited, that's why I've had a break from the game
protess5 yeah, i leveled a mistweaver, which is seriously super fun, now workin on a shaman, hope to bring both a long way through mythic plus, healing seems to be more involved and interesting than DPS. Although i still like to smash face with my warrior or mage now and then...lol
Richard Jeski i just feel very alone when healing. I've never raided with people that applauded my healing, but then they join other guilds and write that they miss my skills when they see what else is out there. healing feels quite unappreciated.
protess5 you do have a point there, or running heroics with a tank who pulls far too much and cant hold aggro, kills you then he dies then goes the DPS, and then starts in on you asking when youre gonna start healing! That REALLY pissed me off...lol
Check out Carl's youtube channel, he is a main disc priest and have tons of guides, povs and discussion videos about disc priest. Just search something like "Carl disc priest" and you'll easily find his videos.
hikiapina no he wanted a carry. so he named his group 885+ dht, as in be high ilvl to join my group. trend needs to die but that's my opinion. here's to 910 ilvl only mos 2 runs
IF u have 880 gear and u can't do 2-3 chest mythic +10 , on most dungeons , you should consider changing your speck or class or build and practise more.
I lol so hard when I see those ilvl groups. me and my few friends will always pull the lowest ilvl that wants to join us, because we're in it for the fun of it....a low lvl group makes mechanics more interesting.
No praise as a healer anymore. DPS pulling all the time so full of "oh shit" heals. Used to get "great healing" compliments, now don't even get a "Ty for group".
I think healing in Legion is the most punishing from any other expansion, and I don't get it why they decided to make it this way when every other role gets it as easy as it gets. It's almost a chore now, so stressful and not fun at all, and I've been healing since TBC.
The challenge is the fun part. Also, I don't see how it in any way has gotten more difficult than before. It probably hasn't gotten easier either, though. Every expansion they try to tweak healing, mana and scaling a little bit, so it's a bit different, of course. I can see how healing during initial Cata can have felt too punishing, but I don't currently find it to be like that.
More like I want a fun job rather than a frustrating one. I've always enjoyed healing the most, but in this expansion when I switch to dps or tanking it's like getting home in the evening after working in the mine all day.
haroldtplopps My guild groups usually consist of 4 melees and me healing as a druid. Works fine for the most parts. Also this week wasnt bad for melees aswell, cleaving with dh/dk really helped for bolstering controle
haroldtplopps Go in more detail, what exactly makes your job a nightmare if you play with melees? What class do you play? Druids and Paladins have no problem with handling ranged mechanics like Vulcans from my experience.
Not to disagree with your guides - I just came back to WoW, healing as a shaman, and I'm taking notes here (and as an old school tank, it's interesting how many skills apply in both fields) - but the idea that party members could become bored, distracted and disinterested... in a brightly coloured fantasy game in which they're fighting mythical monsters as part of a team? What the hell happened to WoW players? "OH, IT'S SO BORING PLAYING THIS GAME. CAN WE FIND A WAY TO PLAY THE BARE MINIMUM OF THIS GAME WHILE STILL TECHNICALLY PLAYING IT, INSTEAD OF JUST NOT PLAYING IT?" When the hell did it become the healer's job to keep the party INTERESTED in the damn game? Are we so spoilt and entitled that we have to find ways to maintain our interest in a thing that is supposed to be fundamentally captivating and FUN? Maybe if the DPS is getting bored with DPSing, they should bloody well try tanking or healing instead? In the good old days of vanilla and burning crusade, if DPS pulled out of turn, we let them die. If they misbehaved, we let them die. They didn't want the responsibility of tanking or healing, so we didn't let them have the authority to dictate the terms of the dungeon run.
Where's the 5/5? Never got around to finishing it?
Best thing about these videos is that it's relevant
Where is video 5
As a tank I set healer as focus so that I always know how much mana they have
Introverts United actually that's good advise.
Introverts United raid frames have resources on bars, now you know everyone's
Introverts United i do that lvling up through dungeons lol. been doing that for a few years. helps out alot.
This should be the normal part of good tank
then you cant use focus macros in the high level end-game anymore.
Where is part 5?

OR be a Night Elf and Shadowmeld in combat.. and just drink.. at any time you want.
"This is the point you start working as a team." Or as the wow playerbase calls it, Mythic+6 885+ needed haha.

KimJongBill I think he is too busy looking for your head, seems it is too far up your ass.
Wow. SO much to learn! I'm glad you're here to teach me.
So about that legacy video..
If I remember right, Preach said that he is not happy with it, so he won´t release it until he is, but that was a few weeks ago.

I like this series and has peaked my interest of healing. I started leveling my shaman heals and enjoying healing dungeons
Piqued
MWcw709 try monk or disc priest lol
Scott Davis I would have to level from 1 as where the shaman was already at 100 from being a profession alt

@Preach Gaming
Mind doing a short video or segment on some other video on healer anxiety at some point? I've had some really bad experiences in both Mythic dungeons and Normal raids that have just completely destroyed any kind of desire to aim for endgame and was thinking if you'd have any tips on how to prevent that from happening?
Dock Lee if you watch his video from yesterday, if you go for a mythic 3-4 it will be easier than a zero, the only way to solve it is to jump in
brixbloxer
Trust me, i've already "jumped in".
Chain heal...).
karlzone2
I'll admit the 9/10 was an exxageration but i'll try to keep your advice in mind, starting with some LFR healing and seeing how it goes.
what will the next series be? DPS?
i dont think there is much that goes on as a DPS
Set yourself up a challenge. Tell healer "Don't heal me for entire dungeon please". Unless it's neltharion lair you can manage.
It is your job to avoid all the damage you can avoid while doing all the damage that you can be doing.
If you don't think there's much going on, you're not pushing high enough or hard enough.
Craftee i guess in hindsight that i was incorrect :p. i know about the stuff you said, i guess it just slipped my mind
I personally haven't played WoW only mmos I played are Swtor (since 2012) and GW2 (since 2013) I am skilled as a Scoundrel Sawbones healer which is a HoT healerWhich would be like the Scoudrel heals from Swtor on wow?
this helped alot thanks preach
What add on is the health bars and how did you have them go vertical?
i honestly stock up on the insta mana pots for m+. feels good for the ultra speed runs
you say all this about mana but still got kicked from a heroic HoV because oom
Just kidding, your series has inspired me to tank and heal, so I'm glad for them
Hey, is there anyone who can help me.
I have been a rogue ever since 2004.
I no decided to reroll a Monk Mistweaver, But i am having a lot of trouble on what healing spells to prioritize.
Hey!~ wheres the last one?
Nice thing about Shamans once your crit is up you dont ever need to stop to drink.... welll very very rarely love my Shaman healer :)
What are you on about? Shamans are alot better in raids they are one of the worst if not the worst in mythic+
that's my feeling don't care about Sims... I have no issues healing m+ up to 10 I have not gone much higher... again read what I wrote it's subjective you understand that word?
I responded to Qin but okay
did he just not make a 5th one?
i went for fun my key VoW +2 on my newdinged resto shaman 836.. died second boss cause the tank would not take the adds even tho i LoS'ed ... he said dont be a useless person and dont do content u cant do.. for info this tank havnt had used his active mitigation once through the entire dungeon.. result depleted and i will keep fighting these pub stars who think to highly of themselves... good video preach always calming words to hear after gettin screwed over.. have a good day sir!
Anyone know any youtubers that have done a really good job with Mplus heal guides/videos? There are so many rather hear a reccomendation.
what addon does put the healing texts on to party characters overhead? scrolling combat text puts it just in middle of the screen :( Or is it set in elvui somehow?
Ahh, found the solution, its tha xCT+ floating combat text option, didnt know they had that lol
preach you need to talk about monk healing mistweaving and fistweaving.
One time a healer thanked me when i stopped the group to let him drink. I felt so fulfilled
You defo want crashing waves in mythic +. There's alot of spam healing needed, and crashing waves help alot with that.
For any other Night Elf healers out there, you can use shadow meld to drink while the fight is still going on.
I almost never need to use a leytorrent potion to regen. Just drinking between combat keeps my mana up just fine. The only time I could see someone having an issue is if they get a tank who never leaves combat long enough to start drinking.
I started running mythic dungeons on my 830 resto shaman with only one ap legend trait. did plus 3
when i rerolled to my hpally i got up to a +10 EoA at 841. we didnt make the timer and it was a full pug minus 2 people who were in the same guild but we completed the 10
Just wanted to say thanks for the videos.
Are tanks more demanding than healers?
I would heal if it were easier... too much stress as the whole group reliant on you. Also, on that Maw +7, how are the dps only doing 150-300k dps?
what dps do you think they should be doing given the likely gear levels of the players at that level?
Well its a +7 so everyone should be above 860 and at least doing 300k+ on trash...
They're not above 860, he said he was like 846 and the tank was like 850....
Matt Brackenbury the community has put it in your head they need to be above 860. That's not the case at all. You'd be amazed what you can get done at and below 860.
He said that the group ilvl was ~855, so around 200k dps is to be expected.
Lawlhero this allows you to keep up with the heavy AoE healing?
Yeah, I don't really find any issues, because AoE damage in legion from what I noticed usually gives you enough time to throw a light of dawn, holy shock flash of light flash of light, etc to get the group back up to a more reasonable level, and for those moments where you know that wont, and you know you'll start falling behind, wings are a god send.
Lawlhero do you mind telling me your talent picks for 6+
I usually go with Bestow Faith (helps with catching up since it's a delayed heal and you can time it out nicely), Cavalier, Blinding Light (BL is really good for a quick AE interrupt), Devotion Aura, Holy Avenger (A nice minor CD for catching up), Sanctified Wrath, and Beacon of the Light Bringer.
My first day as a healer I wanted to practice with a guild group, they immediately pushed it into M+, and we ended up finishing a +11 while I was 880 ilvl and had no clue what to do (on 7.3) :')
Preach, how do i get this UI!! answer pls..
He had a whole video on his Healer UI......its about 3 videos ago.
yeah but never gave the link int he description ill go have a look at it. thanks
Preach put up a video before Legion with a link to his UI. I think it was called Preach's Legion UI
I had so much fun healing with all classes mythic+. But in raids i find healing disturbing. With 5 healers there, how are they supposed to communicate who is healing whom. 80% of my (our) spells are wasted because someone is healing the target aswell? Great.
HOLLA BALLERS IVE NEVER BEEN THIS EARLY
HOLLA BALLERS LAST TIME I CAME THIS EARLY MY WIFE DIVORCED ME
why are your hands glowing like that lava/snowy like?
That happens when you're in the class hall (shaman)
If you are going to make more "guides" i would recommand making a guide of what damage is avoidable as dpsers.
WOuld be impossible to go thrue all that, dmg that is avoidable i guess is dmg you can move from or interupt.
Vuzuul
Thing is that unless you go in to class spesific things you can do that is in my eyes prob the easiest guide to do as you can get it done per instance as melee dps and ranged dps, but i might be wrong there, but in my eyes at least it seems the most logical way to go if you are making a guide like these for dps.
Thought he said he was going to play Mistweaver, any idea when he changed?
Jelloz104 Monk was already overgeared for what he wanted to do when he got round to it
Oh, thanks.
long time ago. as his mistweaver is already like 860 theres no way to show the gearing and starting process from that
I sleepily read your comment as "Thought he said he was going to play Minesweeper" ...
Was definitely confused for a sec there. "Mate, what's Minesweeper?"
FruchteisMitErdbeer Wait, you've never heard or played minesweeper.... wat!?
Its fun when you make it into preach´s videos. Im the mage in the footage.
Fredrik Dalqvist yeh Mate I'm the tank I get a weird satisfaction out of it lol
Well he didnt call us out on our gameplay so i think we got it covered!
883 Holy priest equipped (887 with legends) I kicked off as a plebster healer, but now I am a big boi memer who has over 450k hps on Mythic Dragons fights, lol..
Night Elf Druid - Shadowmeld in combat, then drink. (y)
Only works on trash.
Downside is you have to live with yourself playing a nelf
and a druid
lol, youre doin a +7 at 847, i get denied tryin to join a +4 as a dps at 845
Richard Jeski at 880 you still have a hard time getting into 7+ and upwards. as Preach says it's all about playing with people you know.
Dude, I'm 910 and I've been opted out of +10 many times. Which is odd.
Waiting on the discipline priest tutorial.
Check out Carl's youtube channel, he is a main disc priest and have tons of guides, povs and discussion videos about disc priest. Just search something like "Carl disc priest" and you'll easily find his videos.
WondderWaffel thanks
MrVecau carl is fucking amazing
that 885 thingy was someones IL most likely leaders not 885 healer
hikiapina no he wanted a carry. so he named his group 885+ dht, as in be high ilvl to join my group.
trend needs to die but that's my opinion. here's to 910 ilvl only mos 2 runs
As a nightelf i sometimes stealth and start eating
I think healing in Legion is the most punishing from any other expansion, and I don't get it why they decided to make it this way when every other role gets it as easy as it gets.
It's almost a chore now, so stressful and not fun at all, and I've been healing since TBC.
Tickwick naw man, druid and shaman heals are as easy as it gets
So you are saying you want an easy job and a boring one? I enjoy healing on my paladin because of the challenge it brings compared to dps.
Goblin girls give me life.
Tomas Potelis best warlock in mythic + you can have
love u papapreachypoo
I don't see Healing video 5/5.
Use your whole toolkit...have yet to see you use Earthen Shield Totem /cry
No idea why he'd even pick that as his talent.
It is an amazing talent, esp for dungeons. So not sure what you are getting at
moeck14 I never touch it except for PvP. Idk. To each their own I suppose.
What talent do you take in that tier? 10% HP is nothing and APT is god awful except very rare situations
That 10% hp is more life-saving than the sad 30-37k reduction per hit you get with EST.
I never remember where I am after a drink :D
*slow clap*
*bows*
sorry but i do notice your group is all ranged dps. i dare you to do it with all melee.
haroldtplopps My guild groups usually consist of 4 melees and me healing as a druid. Works fine for the most parts.
Also this week wasnt bad for melees aswell, cleaving with dh/dk really helped for bolstering controle
yeah your "guild group", entire point is a pick up group scenario the hate for melee heavy groups is real.
haroldtplopps
Go in more detail, what exactly makes your job a nightmare if you play with melees?
What class do you play? Druids and Paladins have no problem with handling ranged mechanics like Vulcans from my experience.
its the skittering affix in particular that makes it bad for melee as they will instantly get hit when the mobs lose aggro
finisher862 It´s not too bad until 10+
But puging mythic +1X keys is torture anyways in most cases.
preach lfw
tnx !!!!!
I need you BigO
When will you learn to pronounce "et cetera"? :(
Not to disagree with your guides - I just came back to WoW, healing as a shaman, and I'm taking notes here (and as an old school tank, it's interesting how many skills apply in both fields) - but the idea that party members could become bored, distracted and disinterested... in a brightly coloured fantasy game in which they're fighting mythical monsters as part of a team?
What the hell happened to WoW players? "OH, IT'S SO BORING PLAYING THIS GAME. CAN WE FIND A WAY TO PLAY THE BARE MINIMUM OF THIS GAME WHILE STILL TECHNICALLY PLAYING IT, INSTEAD OF JUST NOT PLAYING IT?"
When the hell did it become the healer's job to keep the party INTERESTED in the damn game? Are we so spoilt and entitled that we have to find ways to maintain our interest in a thing that is supposed to be fundamentally captivating and FUN?
Maybe if the DPS is getting bored with DPSing, they should bloody well try tanking or healing instead? In the good old days of vanilla and burning crusade, if DPS pulled out of turn, we let them die. If they misbehaved, we let them die. They didn't want the responsibility of tanking or healing, so we didn't let them have the authority to dictate the terms of the dungeon run.
Elvui health bars are so whack.
Pick up your damn phone.
your ui makes me cry, please restore default and download quartz and dbm. all you need
