Wow, 1983. That was the year I graduated high school, but have been watching AMC since I was in the 7th grade (1978). AMC in the 80's were great, I used to rush home during my school lunch hour just to watch, rarely missing an episode. You should check out the early-mid 70's episodes. Talk about melodramatic...
I hate that soap net edited out the original closing music when they re-ran this episode. At least they left the much-missed opening book sequence untouched.
Thank you! Thank you! I missed it, but I knew someone would post it! This was when AMC was the best! Too bad Erica wasn't in either of the 2 episodes they showed.
The Bravest Soap of them All! They were always the first to break thru wonderland into the real world., black characters with real decent story lines, lesbians, Bad Mothers tho they made Opel funny bad. I still loved the Opal character back then bring back Dorothy! and Billy Clyde with his diode missing ha!
Nina married Cliff, in 1989, and left town. She returned briefly, in the mid 1990s, when Bobby Warner came to town (and it was revealed he fathered Sam Grey with Kelsey Jefferson). She has not returned since
I read at the time that the producers/writers of "AMC" went with a lesbian character because they thought viewers were less likely to believe two men could have a strictly platonic relationship than two women--a lesbian (Pescow) & primarily "straight" woman, which "Devan" was.
@KJTV67 Daisy was posing as a woman named Monique Jonvil when she first came to Pine Valley. Nina didn't know Monique was her long lost mother Daisy until the truth came out .
Ok so I specifically remember one episode with Nina and Cliff where Cliff was leaving Palmer’s and I vaguely remember he I think had sneaked in there to see nina but then when he was leaving the dogs palmer’s dogs dobermans were behind the black fence barking at him as he left. Does anyone remember this episode? This was how I got into AMC. I was home sick from school and remember watching that episode on TV. Man would I love to see Hm her episode again but that’s the only part I can recall. I was very young in elementary school.
Yeah, Pescow had been in "Saturday Night Fever" and starred on the CBS sitcom "Angie." Her mother on "Angie" was played by Doris Roberts, Ray Romano's mom on "Everybody Loves Raymond" and a regular at "Kelsey's Bar" on "All In The Family." Pescow's boyfriend on the sitcom was played by Robert Hays, who played the pilot in the "Airplane" satire films.
Wow!!!! I remember this! The good ol days!!! :) Thank you Donna515!!! At 3:21 the background looks fake ROFL in 1983 I was 8 or 9 yrs old. it all depends on when they showed this cus my birthday is in June.
I Believe The Episode Of "All My Children" On November 7, 1983 Had The Characters: Daisy, Nina, Edna, Devon, Les, Angie, Jessie, Greg, Myrtle, Ellen, Frankie, Palmer, Cliff, Joe, Dottie, Bonnie, Nancy, And Etc.
This is wonderful--can you tell me which episodes aired as part of this marathon and when the marathon happened? I know most of the SoapNet marathons (I Love Lucci, etc) but had never heard of this one.
@EricMontreal22 The marathon happened the weekend before these were posted. So the weekend of Jan 11-12, 2008 All the Angie/Jesse episodes are posted on my channel, and I really should label them more clearly, I guess. There are three in all,and this one was the first. The other two involve Jesse/Angie remarrying with baby Frankie in attendance, and Angie's father's death from 1987. They were all posted the same date as this one.
I hated Steve! Why did Nina cheat on Cliff with that LOSER in the first place!? Yuck. Poor Greg, Jesse just left him there in the middle of traffic, LOL! Anything to get to his Angie and their baby Frankie! Angie's dad was an ass.
Always loved Nina,Daisy and Myra together. Thanks for posting

The actress who plays Daisy resembles the actress Constance Mccashin who played Laura Avery sumner from knots landing.

Michelle Stafford was in that scene with Donna Pescow. Michelle played Phyllis Summers on Y & R.
LOL!!!That's her Thrifty Maid Costume!!!
In This Clip, From 3:43 To 4:01, It Was "All My Children" On November 7, 1983.

Yeah, Peter Bergman was "Dr. Cliff Warner" for at least ten years, a real Boy Scout compared to his character on "The Hung & The Breastless."
Why is Nina calling Daisy "Monique"?
I know, she knows Daisy is her mother.
Huggy Bear from starsky and hutch! these are the best of amc 1980-1990
Omg it's Jack Abbott from Y&R
What the hell is Nina wearing?
