Anyone who says Josh Homme is arrogant has never seen him interviewed by a good interviewer; almost every time he comes off as a nice, down to earth guy who has more respect for music than any other musician I've ever come across (other than Jesse Hughes/Boots Electric/The Devil).
He's very underrated. He specializes in very fast and steady playing (he pretty much can't be beat in that area) but their new drummer seems to fit their new sound really well.
I was in The Eagles of New Wave with Sandberg's dad in the 90's. It was too early and we had a little success but rocked the Casio. We were huge in Paraguay

well the "original" drummer is Alfredo Hernandez from the old KYUSS days. Gene played on RATED R and on some songs from SFTD... rockin' drummer, too! seriously solid...
His name is Brian "Big Hands" O'Connor, and they are even bigger close up..saw them live on Monday night, bloody awesome, with Jessie Hughes, Dave Catching & Joey Castillo
@staplesmcjebus Wireless rigs are what "professionals" use. Their amps are probably just off camera, or they could be using Line6 PODs plugged straight into the mixing console.
man the drummer looks alot like andy samberg from snl, im pretty sure it is considering his other member of the lonely island group directed the video for this song and its in new york where Andy Samberg films snl and lives.
The amps are probably behind the camera, facing the band. All mics are wireless. Probably a small PA for the vocals too.Dosent look like they are using in-ear monitoring.
The quality is potato, but they are indeed using in-ear monitors. Sometimes you can see the thin wires, and sometimes you can't. The earbuds are a little easier to see.

He does most of the Album recordings with them on drums but he isn't in the touring band because he has 2 other active recording and touring bands to attend to. Long live Jesse Hughes n/
