So much for a CPS2 mix, sounds more like a MM-ZX kind of kicker which would fit excellent into the game as an arranged selection of soundtrack were it possible to be added, but has to be JKB's decision though you got my vote for sure!

And yes, MMX corrupted has been in development by that fan team for ages!! I remember seeing it back in 2012 back at university!
Don't worry, Sonic 4 Episode 1 was under development for 16 years amd it only came out in 2010
