Can someone please explain me why the USB-C wont work with MacBook . He said something about charging but can you use just one cable ? And thanks for the video mate
Hello, I got this monitor about a month ago and I love the monitor with one exception.. the audio doesn't always play from the monitor when I have this playing using the USB-C cable provided and also tried a thunderbolt cable with no luck... Does anyone else have this issue? or if you haven't had this issue, what is your wiring set up? I hope to hear back from someone.
@@saudalazmi2605 My way around it even though it doesn't sound like a choice I would do right off the bat is, whenever I am done using my monitor as my laptop display, I do a complete power shutdown and unplug everything. Whenever I am ready to get online I power on my laptop and then connect it to my monitor. I haven't had a single issue in months. Hope this HELPS :D
You can definitely enjoy some gaming but this is monitor was not designed for hardcore gamers as the screen refresh rate is 60Hz. You want to look for monitors with a 120hz refresh rate and other gamer-centric features like Nvidia sync etc.
I currently have one dumb monitor and one dumb TV. I use two laptops one with Windows and the other with Linux Mint. I use Xfinity and they sent me a Flex Box along with the internet package that enables the TV options. So I don't use the Flex Box that much really. The smart monitor acting like a hub, with a built in speaker, able to get me my Prime Video subscription directly would be OK. Because I always go Samsung Galaxy I like that my phone and monitor would like each other. As an NFL fan with Verizon I'd love to get a live game of choice (out of my region) and feed the stream to my monitor. Currently though I think there is a block to 'cast' from phone stream to other device which suggests that with all the technology we still have these annoying streaming content services blocking us. But the devices are awesome.
you can only mirror samsung phone? all the apps are make only for samsung? on the product page show the type C port has thunderbult sign, power, PD and data, is it possible to plug thunderbolt to it? I also contacted samsung, the manual is somewhat misleading, shows USB 3.1 gen 1 and lower will not support DP alt mode, the feature only available for M7, but samsung cannot tell it actually support DP alt mode.
hello frnz can we use it as a tv?? can we watching tv without a pc, attached it with tv setup box with hdmi eARCr for video output..?? plz reply.... bcoz 32inch 4k display are not available in tv led.. so i am thinking to buy this moniter..
You’ve probably made a purchase or decision by now, however perhaps the biggest reason is they don’t make 4K TV’s at 32in! I’d have bought one a long time ago if they did. I actually prefer to have this as it’s essentially a 32in tv (perfect size for smaller rooms tv & pc monitors) but with extra ports, so it’s even better!
@@MeredithDancer thank you Meredith for that information! Do you know what a good refresh rate is considered to be! Obviously this monitor is capped at 60, though as I don’t have hdmi 2.0 I’m capped at 30!
@@Happyfaceshock depends on what you're doing and what you're used to. Most movies and tv shows are 24 fps. 60fps I think is good enough for a computer. It also depends on the display type. I had a 144hz monitor that I returned because the VA display had a bad ghosting (or trailing) effect that made it look worse than my 75hz IPS monitor. The Samsung M7 is a VA panel so ghosting might be an issue but we'll see when mine comes in. Keep in mind that my eye is a bit more trained than someone asking what refresh rate is good (no offense.) For an average user, you probably won't notice much difference or have any issues with whatever refresh rate you're given.
@@LasdilElizaga no it is not usable. Maybe it was just a problem with my pc but I had an enormous delay between movement with the mouse and movement on screen.
@@prula maybe it’s the tv itself. Im also reading reviews regarding not good for pc use. il just buy a monitor instead then add a chromecast with it. Thanks!
Hi this monitor is the worst thing you can buy on games and I mean it really because I bought it and it's a terrible big mistake ... world of tanks, world of warcraft, world of ship and other games are visually more than ugly !!! no IPS, only 60Mhz..actically bad M7, it's a terrible picture and 4k doesn't even reach..sound .. tin, just awful! In addition, the color setting constantly changes according to the light in the room so that it goes out for 2-3 seconds and seems to fall and starts to change the setting changes color, and when you play the game, it's awful. Good to the office (maybe) I really do NOT recommend anything much
Another useless review. No One ever reviews the most important thing the whole damn monitor was created in the first place: Is it good to connect to your WORKPLACE COMPUTER! What is the WORK from home experience! Can it connect to the server at WORK!
You laugh at them including a CD in 2021, but you rally should be crying for them not including a DisplayPort input in 2021. This seems like the perfect device for the average wanna-be hipster living in a bedsit that's too small to accommodate both a TV and a computer monitor - or something to buy for the teenage kid to use in their room. It's neither a capable TV nor a capable monitor.
Love the fact that it has the samsung TV app. All monitors should follow this trend.
Amazing video as always linus
That's nice and great review as always.👍
bought this one. great monitor.
Getting this Smart TV coming soon

I saw someone leave a comment on another amazon TV feedback section and said they bought the MAC cable and it worked after that.

why not show anywhere in the description and title about the size of the monitor? is it 32", 34", 43"?
Sir, Did you experience any sudden shutdown of the monitor or any glitch when using the USB-C cable with your mac ?! , Nice video & Thanks :)
You have to use a USB-C 3.1 gen 2 cable for it to work.

You recommend using Dex with a cable. Which cable? The Samsung USB-c to HDMI cable - or just a usb-c cable?
