Gambia and many countries in Africa already are richer then the rest of the world, gold,diamond, cobolt steel, timber,fishing etc.
The problem is most places dont have the knowlege to process and refine the product, the infastructure is not strong enough to produce large enough volume. this is why you see many asians there building the roads and buildings, africans dont know math and science just yet, but in the future we will see

Because the president said in his speech ( by the will of Allah). This is what you did not get.
