My son, who is six now, has watched your videos since he was about two and half. Almost every morning. They are like his cartoons. He has amassed a large collection of trash trucks, maybe 80 or so, consisting of hotwheels to First Gear models. He was excited when he turned on UA-cam and saw a new thumbnail. He really enjoyed the interior view and all the controls.
Neat to hear you talk and show us your very own truck! Excited to see some documentation when your future plans come to fruition (and just more frequent uploads of course) - especially in action at a parade or even collecting lines of carts! Perfect surprise this evening in my notifications - excited for you Bryn!
Man that's one of my big dreams to buy and restore an old garbage truck! The White/GMC and Volvos are my favorites! I drive for Republic and unfortunately they have some ridiculous policy where they won't sell an old commercial truck, so I've seen a lot of awesome trucks get scrapped that I would've loved to save. Can't wait to see the progress on this project!
Check your crankcase breather/filter. Not sure exactly where it is on that engine but if the filter is clogged it'll dump more oil out the breather. Cool truck! I maintain a fleet of 60 recycling trucks & my 'I won the lotto' dream would be buying an older one like this & fixing it up!
Super cool stuff. I'm stoked to see the paint scheme you have planned; I'm hoping the sand brown for the body gives nostalgic vibes similar to the old 7Ks my city had in the 90's. Overall she looks like a purtty truck, excited to see what you do with it in the future.
Of course make update videos!! This is awesome! Haven't heard your voice in a long time either lol Would love to see it in a parade or event! maybe bring it down here lol
The legend is back again! Great idea to start with that truck, I hope to see it in action. Honestly it looks pretty good outside and inside, considering this truck is over 20 years old. Great video as always!
If I had the chance to do a Garbage Truck Project I would probably go for an old Mack Truck that still runs and sounds like a champion and has the Great Classic Engine Grumble to it.
Awesome man! So glad you have saved a cool piece of refuse history! Alway enjoyed watching your videos when I was young, and thanks for get me in to metal!
The legend is back! Huge congratulations on this amazing truck my man Bryn!! The D7 is a great engine - very reliable! Do you happen to know what model Allison it's got? If it's at all possible, I'd love for you to do a super long in-cab driving video of it out on the road, as well as operating the arm, as if you're doing a route. I'd love to hear it running up and down through the gears, cruising, all that stuff. Please let me know what you can do ASAP, and looking forward to the next videos on this gem! Keep them coming!!
Sweet old rig! Had an old Auto Car with the box on the back bumper. Drive a Mack Heil Python now. Never see volvo anymore, just Peterbuilt , Mack and Autocar in the VA region, besides norfolk CCC.
When you upload, it makes my day. Would look beast in Western Waste Ind. colors, But what you are thinking makes me think of old school L.A. How much did this cost?? It is one sick truck for sure.
Stellar video! Truly unexpected from you in my opinion.. I think every enthusiasts dream at this point is to own a truck or start their own business. Also, its cool what you plan on doing with it! The parade/Truck show idea is something I've never even seen or heard of before for a garbage truck lol.. By the way in the future do you think you would start your own refuse hauler? Or just continue to having this as a "Flair, Decoration only" Vehicle. Another thing, random question but since you mentioned this came from twin falls, did it originate from western waste services? (As seen in this advert: ua-cam.com/video/8unNjx6ASX4/v-deo.htmlsi=Yc-rebyfz0bJQqQj )Or is it from consolidated disposal of Washington state, like the truck Alex bought considering they have the same livery/stripe design. Overall, this is the coolest thing and something i would have never expected from you, Excited to see future updates! So stoked to see what this beast of a machine will become. And the fact its almost perfectly original just takes the cake for me. Once again, Stellar video. :D
Finally we get to see the legend talk!

Wow
2 heil 7000 videos in a row lol
How many miles on it (if the odometer even still works ofc)?
You are so lucky
How or where did you get it from?
To je tvůj projekt
Wow
Thats a 24 year old truck manufactured in 2000
With vehicles you go by model years not manufacture years. So a truck manufactured in 2000 would be 2001 model year.
Can you start it and honk the horn
Lets goo
yo bruce i remember you
@@SpaghettiVR602 who are you?
Do you have/ need a cdl to drive this
Any vehicle with a gross weight at 26,000 or more is required to have a cdl to operate, so this is probably 33,000 GVWR.
Will you do your own business with the truck?
trailer park business ?
can u post some videos packing stinky diapers ?
hes back boys🤘🤘🤘
