Flags Raised on the Plaza at Temple Square

- Visitors to Temple Square during the April 2024 general conference (April 6-7), will now see the flags of 91 nations on display in the plaza near the Church Office Building.
The plaza, which opened to the public in January of this year, is part of the larger renovation of Temple Square and the Salt Lake Temple.
The flags are one of several art installations on Temple Square symbolizing the global nature of the Church of Jesus Christ, its commitment to be a friend to all nations, and the belief that the gospel of Jesus Christ will grow to fill the earth.
Flags of officially recognized United Nations countries will be displayed as part of a regular rotation every three months.

Wonderful! We are our Brother's keeper. We are our Sister's keeper. How good to show the world that we practice what we preach. We care for one another. We love one another. We love all of Heavenly Father's Children. What a blessing this Church is to all of us and the world.

This is so significant! God is in the details, and He loves ALL of His children ~ though we may differ politically, linguistically, culturally, and geographically, we are all HIS, and these flags represent that difference and unity, all in one. Each one of those flags represent a nation of people devoted to their country and land, and each of those flags flying together in front of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints headquarters represents the unity and love of a Father for ALL of His children! It just makes my heart SO happy to see these flags together in unity under the watchful eye of a loving Heavenly Father! ❤❤❤❤❤

this is nice, so this is the right moment to change the strict tradition on LDS Church worship, I meant, I do not agree that we should use white Shirts, dark pants and ties on Sundays worship, it is not our culture.
