I feel like it would add a lot of new “natural” oportunities such as Malia flirting with Kai, or we could see her and Lani become really close again while watching all the kids grow up together.

It's kid of a weird one as it's seems to work mostly with high romance bar or very firty Sims . Which doesn't make any sense as it should be something you do earlier in the relationship

Im enjoyimg this series so far, however have you considered adding positive twists to the wheel? Not a lot but maybe a few wild ones to help temper all the dramatic options like a surprise 20,000 simoleons or surprise move to a better house. Maybe not specifically those but yeah. Nothing but unfortunate things happening is likely to start feeling somewhat repetitive or lose the shock factor after awhile haha also comingup with explanations for where those good things are coming from could add a fun story aspect

This series is full of so much drama.... I adore it.
I feel like Merfolk are flirtatious creatures and don't see having multiple woohoo/romantic partners a problem. They just love to be in love, and her ex wasn't a "siren" (Sirens were half women half bird beasts similarly to harpies but someone messed up the Merfolk and siren myths so technically all Sirens are female) so it wasn't just a use and abuse situation. He just didn't see the problem as it isn't use to land/human traditions. Don't be so hard on him Kayla... Just sayin

you should make it that when malia finds a sacred sulani treasure that has been lost for years, it grants her the ability to bring her mother back to life. love the series

Toddlers are really glitched since the Island Living patch, so if you're having any problems with them around it could be that. Hopefully the next patch fixes them.

I think quitting the diving job makes sense for her. Diving is pretty risky, there's always a chance something could go wrong and she might not be able to come home. She might not feel comfortable doing that as a single parent with a baby and an increasingly shaky relationship with her family.
