How far forward does the new bumper extend past where the stock bumper was? My garage is pretty tight and I was thinking of getting this bumper but if it extends too far it’s not an option for me.
My only concern is that you have bolt on tow hooks that are just held on by small looking bolts... could get ripped out during a recovery... Otherwise good looking bumper. :)
those hex bolts on the recovery points will be a nightmare, I would swap them out with bolts before installing them. They are already a rust point on the pure steel version and you have steel going to aluminum and they corrode like crazy. rusted hexes are a sure way to see them stripped when you put in an allen. Weaken, and they will be weakened in a couple of years, when you will subject those to a massive amount of pulling force is a design defect. Those should have been welded on like virtually all $1000 range aluminum bumpers
Did I miss the tire change or were those the one you bought the JK with. Any reason you didn’t go for a stubby bumper? Now more lights for the bar! See you Wednesday for coffee!!

It’s about 1 1/2 inches shorter on each end from the outside of the fenders.
Never showed anything about toughness of bumper. Like hiw easy does end of bumper flex , wacken a tree. The real world reason 5 bumpers.
