yep, somehow i have a feeling we will see very few single fan / gpus under 212mm from here on, even on the 40 series we got like... 3? and they are nowhere to be found for sale near me outside of third party amazon sellers
agree! I saw some mods on reddit with single fan 4070s and the temps still remain low!

It might be worth adding the resolution you are testing at in the titles for videos like these. My searches are usually [Graphics Card | Resolution], and since the thumbnails are only the titles, I wasn't sure what the resolution tested was, until I clicked in.
Thanks for making these tests!
very very happy to see the apex results! so good to see how the new cards perform in my favourite competetive game! :DD cheers
I have a SFF case and bought the Zotac twin fan version which is suitable for SFF cases. I’ve upgraded from my RTX A2000, to the 4070 Super. It should do a job for me at 1440p (which is my monitors resolution) for several years to come. Very happy with it.
144p, now that's commitment to the pixels /s
I'm in awe at the size of this lad. Absolute unit.
Nice review but what resolution were you at?
When I upgraded from a RTX2070Super to an RX6800 I had to change from my older Cooler Master ATX case to a Rosewill Prism S500 case because the RX6800 is so much bigger. The S500 Prism is a really nice case if you can find one .
Good video, please try to include Alan Wake 2 in the benchmarks as well.
Ah ok yeah I’ve been thinking about adding it for a while :)
@@RandomGaminginHD Thanks for the reply! I suggested Alan Wake 2 because it's the Crysis of current times 😄, cheers!

I do have a liking towards 3 fan variants like the Colorful 4070 Super NB EX, is that good?
Excellent choice including The Outer Worlds onto the benchmarks!
Sad to see someone threw a brick through your window but glad to see you're making the best of the situation.
@RandomGaminginHD nice to finally see cpu and gpu temps can we add the power usage next please? thanx :D power consumption is really important to poor people like myself :D
Great video. Moar pls. Dunno why more aren't touching diablo 4 with this card. I've got one coming to pair with a 3700x. I know it'll bottleneck with my monitor but it'll still punk out the 3070 it's replacing
Great review! The detailed performance analysis of the RTX 4070 Super, especially at 1440p, is really helpful. It's impressive how the card maintains high frame rates in various games. I appreciate the comparison with a mid-range CPU like the Ryzen 5 7500f, showing the GPU's capability. The gameplay footage and temperature insights add valuable information. Can you share more details about the Palit Jet Stream cooler's features and its impact on noise levels? Also, how does the RTX 4070 Super compare to other GPUs in its price range? Finally, have you tested its performance in any VR games or applications?
Hello PR department
seems like the 7500f is bottlenecking that gpu a littlebit..
He said the card is quiet. Obviously he didn't test db levels but usually coolers like that on cards means they are more quiet. Have a similar cooler on my 3070 and I can't hear it.

Those temps... What is your cooling looking like? I'm jealous
Trying to find out if the 4070 super is a good matchup with the 5800x3d? Would a 4070 Super be happier with a stronger CPU at 1440p 60fps?
I'm not quite sure what resolution you tested on. Should have mentioned it more.
Nice one, but in future can you please try and tell us what resolution you are testing the games at! I think they might have been tested at 1440p but i cant be sure! 😆

Sorry, but what resolution were you running? ;)
I like ur videos very much, ur style of benchmarking, well i have a question just a quick one, i want to upgrade from intel to amd, and i have i5 10400f, i want to upgrade ryzen 5 7000 series which would be good that is not that power hungry? and if i shall wait for 8th gen of ryzen?
Thank you for reply :)
I upgraded from a i5 10500 to a 7700x and I’m loving it.
That 7500f ain't for sale anywhere rn but the 7600 and this 4070 super would be a great upgrade for me
This is the exact combo I bought for my friend. He will be ok for a few years
Can i b your friend?😀
Hey sorry, at what resolution did you test these games?
A shame they cost 750€ where I live. This makes the 500€ 7800XT the winner.. For now... Hopefully the price will come down.
dont be afraid to buy a palit jetstream , ive had one since the 1080ti and its still running ! this thing will run forever! repaste every 2 years, and one fan controller later its still as cool as gthe day i bought it ie under 75c on full blast! got a 3090fe on a decent swap deal and boy oh boy those temps looks lovley! trust me when your dealing with memory heat of 86c after you have fixed the issue this seems cool.
Is 7500f perfect for RTX 4070 Super? No bottleneck?

ReviewUnitsInHD lets goooooo, love to see it.
So I'm about to build a new pc with 7600 and 4070s
Is it gonna run smoothly on 1440p or it's gonna be this inconsistent
I am today a very happy bunny gaming wise... I rebuilt a £4 Xbox One which really only cost me a cost of a cheap laptop hard drive and some elbow grease/PC time. Been on my Forza's once downloaded and boy does it kick at high res on my 51 inch telly :D I'm still super stuck into Return to Moria, been building megabuildings all over it and very complex designs too, way better than Minecraft and every so often if you make noise hordes of orcs and wargs will attack your bases, sometimes you will get a horde of trolls which are super hard or worse a pack of fell beasts and cold drakes which usually means death.
How is it that you have minimum framerates higher than 1% and 0.1% lows?
The “Can it run Crysis?” Preset caught me off guard 😂😂😂
Holding it in your hand, it just reminded me about my "modded" GT710 ddr5 2GB card. It took 2 slots, just because I added a fan into the below slot, attached to a PCI cover, not to the card. It kept the GT710 below 60 celsius with it. It was sweating without sweating. :D I really hope after the 1630, we might see an RTX 5010, being a 1 slot card. I so much wish for it. I carve at that category for an upgrade.
After 1630, we're gonna have 3050 (6 gigs variant).
If NVIDIA is willing to work in chronology, maybe we'll see a 4030 (or something like that) before 5010 (or whatever they name it)
But, I like your optimism.
why do you need a one slot card?
@@sebastian_manuells yeah I also don't think they will go lover than 50s, cause APUs are the ultimate choice for office pcs currently, so there is no point in making these weak cards anymore.
@@user-mn8hx2fq7j I agree, but the re-release of 710, 730 & the upcoming gimped 3050 do raise doubts in my mind.
@@rafradeki Not always looking for a chunky card. And today's cards are all chunky and heavy. I want a single slot card, because I have machines that having more pci-e slot filled up with peripherals. And these days I bumped many time into the situation, of the GPU blocking the way of a pci-e slot. Very annoying when you would need the other slots as well. It is that simple reason.
Just bought this bad boy yesterday for my new 7600 build
Hey, I'm looking for the same build. Is it running great on 1440p ?
And what kind of motherboard do you have please ?
Thank you for your time
Why didn’t you keep the 7500f overclock? It did make a very noticeable difference and using stock clocks it wasn’t much faster than the 12400f.
What resolution were you running these tests at again?
1669p ;)
Can't believe it doesn't have any RGB. Maybe Palit will add another model with it soon.
After the intro, for some reason I forgot this video was about the RTX 4070 Super, and instead I had in mind it was about the iGPU 780M by AMD. It took me about 10 mins to realize my mistake. Funny, though also a bit disappointed as I wish this was the performance of iGU in 2024.
Any chance you test that card on FFXIV at 1080p @ 1440p
My almost 3 year old 3070 runs pretty much everything I throw at it in 1440p 144hz. Luckily I'm not ready for high hz 4k yet, or I'd need a monitor and gpu upgrade.
I hope you keep this card and treat yourself
ANY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE PALIT DUAL 4070 SUPER?
I've this exact configuration of CPU, RAM and GPU. Definitely can even stretch to 4K with a few reduced settings.
Hey, can you please tell me the name of the ram, I'm new to pc gaming and I'm looking for that build too.

1440p 😂❤ Thanks for uploading dude 🙏
So, now how fast is your internet speed?
Will there be any bottleneck on 7600(Non X) with 4070 super on 1440p?
It's frustrating how big they're making GPUs these days. Why on earth is a massive triple slot cooler needed for a 220w TDP card? My 3080 FE pulls 320w, is smaller, and only has 2 fans.
So Is the 4070 super built with 4K 60 in mind?
on gta v a really good solution for nvidia gpus instead of using included AA methods , it's to turn DLDSR on and run the game using it. if you have the overhead it's better than all included methods even TXAA
Worthy upgrade from a RTX 3070 fe?
Can you recommend a better cpu than 3570k ?
did you get any CPU bottleneck with this Combo ?
Pretty wild to see gpus running 3 plus ghz
I usually cap my fps at 141 to match the hz of my monitor. I wonder how this decrease the frametimes. Would be interesting to, especially when playing competitive games like pubg, apex, etc
The higher the fps, the lower the frame times, if you cap below monitor refresh rate you get increased frametimes, but they dont change drastically or at all.
My advice is for competitive games, unlocked fps giving you the edge in frametimes, and with other casual or singleplayer games just cap your fps to where it doesnt go under your capped fps, for the smoothest experience.
I wonder if there will be an ITX version with a single fan ?? Also I'd like to know if there's much difference in performance with the most expensive (Asus, Aourus, etc...) models or are they just a cash grab by board partners ??
Usually they are really more so for show. A lot more rgb and designs. Some have better cooling, better overclocking, or are a little bit better built but at the end of the day you're not going to be getting insane performance for $50 to $100 dollars more just from getting it from a different partner. It's better to watch reviews and see if you're willing to pay more for miniscule changes.
Lol, the GPU cost more than my entire PC. Anyways, great review RGHID. Pretty good performance, think it could use a $50 price cut IMO.
50$ ? More like 100$ IMO. Nvidia knows people will buy their cards at any price.
@@Gatorade69At $100 it would be the same as the regular 4070, then that would need a retailer price cut too and so forth…
@@NukaOrQuantum... Well the regular 4070 definitely needs a price cut. All the 40s series cards do.
Sweet Zombie Jesus, look at the size of that thing. That's not a GPU, that's a weapon!
I’m so happy I watched this video because I was only getting 37fps on the Witcher 3 4K and I have a 6950xt then I put screen space reflections to low and no I’m getting 85 everything else is on ultra.
Interesting to see that 1440p ryzen 7500f is holding back the gpu in most games. Can't imagine 4070ti super or 4080 super need what kind of cpu. Intel 13500 or amd 7700 ?
Intel 13500 is slower than a 7500f-7600 in gaming with decent rams
how many Hz is your monitor at 1440p?
You can disable Battlefield 1's 200 fps cap with a console command
Seems like the 7500 can't keep up with the 4070 Super, in most games it was barely used over 90% like seen in your video footage
Now, what's the difference between super and ti?
At this point, I really have to ask: Is Palit your favourite brand, or do they appear so often because they're the most common brand on the shelves in your area? :)
They are one of my favourites yeah, but they were also one of the first companies to reach out to me. And MSI actually
He's mentioned in the past on other Palit cards that they were offered by Palit to him and they were new models, so they were of then current interest. It's not a bad company either. No screw-ups like on some Gigabyte, ASUS and MSIs that are hit or miss: they had put GeForce radiators on Radeon cards or forgot to put or put the wrong thermal-pads and cards overheated.
This looks more than enough perfect for 4k gaming on my end, hoping to pick up one next month for a good deal
Nice :)
If the game is optimized and you dont care about rt you can, but you have to play on low settings on terribly optimized games
@@mrbobgamingmemes9558 uhm, I owned a 3080 and not one game made me have to go from 4K Max/high settings to achieve a stable framerate, and a 4070 Super will be better than my old 3080 even if it’s by a small margin :)
Don't do it 12 GB frame buffer won't last at 4K
@@ij6708 it’ll last at 4K until another good card comes out reasonably priced

Can you do the same but with the ti super?
as long as you got 5-6 fans in your case you should be ok
A card that also doubles as an emergency blunt force weapon to defend yourself with. :V
Bro is calling a 4070 super a mid range gpu..
Sadly nowadays it is med range... he's right, but it shouldn't be like this, capitalism is the problem
The 4070 Super is a 220w card and most certainly does not require such a gigantic cooler. This thing is the size of a 4090. They've clearly just made it unnecessarily large to charge more for it. If I buy this card I'm definitely going with a two fan model.
You can just buy the founders edition you know, it's a lot smaller
Additional cooling is never a bad thing.
Quite the opposite, it is annoying when the radiator is barely enough to cool a card. Overkill is best. It spreads heat better, it doesn't get hot instantly, it can be quieter.
Very impressed to see that modern CPU bottlenecking that GPU. But thanks for this great review!
You are CPU limited in KCD. That game needs a beefy processor for those heavily populated areas
7900 xt worth $710?
"Elden Ring is capped at 1440p" cracked me up 😂
the fact that not a lot of card is better than the 4070 and is a very recent gpu yet dips below 60fps on crysis says a lot about the optimization on that game. I love crysis but the inconsistencies is ridiculous
Seeing 4070 super. im crying here . Coz recently my gpu has died .
I really like the looks of the GPU. I don't need fancy lights.
But the fancy lights make it faster.
